Is it normal to have hair between your breasts and around your belly button?

If you’re sprouting hair “down there,” some might also crop up around your belly button, upper lip and, yes, breasts. “Around 11 or 12, certain hair follicles respond to hormones surging through the body,” explains gyne- cologist Dr. Adelaide Nardone.

“Hair that’s not in your armpits or pubic area should be very fine, even if it’s darker,” adds Dr. Nardone If it’s coarse, show your doctor—you could have a treatable hormonal imbalance. But a little fuzz is normal, even if some girls get more than others.

If your fur freaks you out, bleach it (Sally Hansen Crème Hair Bleach) or use a hair remover (Nair).

Shave only if you want to and believe me a lot of us want to and do. I am not a very hairy person and I dont mind hair even though I shave everything off (just like a lot of my friends do).

But I hate the hair that grows between my 'down there' part and my butt. I shave that to but I wish it wouldnt grow there but I have found that its normal to have hair between those two areas.

Hey girl, that's totes normal. All girls have hair down there (it's called public hair) and it starts to make an appearance during puberty. It's just a sign you're growing up, so no worries, girlie!

I hit puberty at 8 and a half or 9. It stinks D: I have the hair around my belly button and going up between my breasts. My friends, guys included, never seem to notice at pool parties. Never mind the hair unless it's grows a face and attacks people.

Hey babe,

Not as thick as if you shaved it, but yes, a little bit thicker. You're better off leaving that hair alone or bleaching it. It's completely normal to have hair there.

Hey girl! Having hair there is totally normal - no worries! If it really bothers you, you could tweeze the hair or wax it. Don't shave it, though, or else you'll end up with uncomfortable stubble!

Hey girl, for certain body parts, you can bleach or wax. However, I suggest that you just accept the way your body is. When you love your body and exude confidence through that, you're hair won't even be noticable. <3 Jeannie

If it works for you then it is a good one! I personally LOVE the Venus razors but they aren't for everyone! It depends on what takes off your hair best!

Our bodies change and we do start getting hair down there and other places which is a shocker, because it was for me. And after we get it down there we have it forever but many of my friends are trimming and shaving down there and I do the same.

And I learned in health that we have puberty issues but so do guys, we just get the worst of it. Guys still have to go through their wet dream thing and where parts of their boy parts start to hang down more. And guys get hair down there to. We learned this all in health, so everyone goes through something.
