MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD okay so alot of the time now i will just be doing something like eating running reading ect, and all of a sudden it feels like i pee my pants and when i go see all i see is clear (It mostly happens during P.E at skool)and it was no color. its just like pouring water on your panties, its damp but no color what is that?

If it has been non-stop, maybe you should see a doctor. But usually, discharge means it should be coming soon. So be ready, just don't hold your breath 'til it comes! <3 your mod babes

Hey girly, yep it's completely normal to feel your discharge. The arrival of periods can be so tricky, so it's hard to say when you will get yours. But once you start noticing more changes in your bod, you know it's coming. So in the meantime get prepared with some pads and visit our Period Page to learn all about periods and discharge.

Hey girl, that's discharge. That's a sign your bod's going through puberty, but know that just 'cause your mom got her period when she was 13 doesn't mean you will. Your bod's unique and everyone's time is different. Don't worry about it.

u know ur periods on the way when the discharge stops. it's not always a good idea to wear a pantyliner all the time cuz that can get really expensive(been there done that NOT GOOD) just wear one when u have ur fave undies on or something like that. this will be my 7th period coming up

I never got discharge before my first period. is that normal? and sometimes my discharge now has a few green or blue specks in it, but i think it might just be lint, and i have a guy doc and my mom wont let me change docs. what shoudl i do cuz i dont feel comfy with my doc anymore. and i basically have to b forced into those papery dress things.

Hey girl, not really honestly. You really don't feel much if anything. Nonetheless, you should def wear a pantyliner -- that way your panties don't get stained when your period really does come.

Ok guys, I think I can answer many of your questions! I am 12, have not had my period, but have had discharge for 10 months, and my boobs started developing about 2 years ago. That most likely means I'll be starting my period within the next 6 months. But here are the answers to your commonly asked questions:

How do you know if you have discharge: basically you feel wet in your pants, but you know you didn't pee yourself. If it gets bad for me, i put in a pantiliner, but if you don't wanna do that then you can just live with it, because it's not that bad. The color is basically like offwhite, but when it dries its kinda yellowish. but if yours is pink red or brown, then you had your period.

False alarms: you can have a false alarm, where there is a little blodd, but it's not your period, that has happened to my friend but it's perfectly normal.

How to know if your period is coming soon (like in the next week): if youve got boobs, hair down there, and are acting grumpy have had discharge FOREVER and r having cramps, then you're about to get your period. Promise

How to know if your period is coming soon (like in the next 6 months to a year): if you've got boobs, hairs down therre, and have been getting discharge for about a year or more then expect your period fairly soon.

But don't expect your period right after your boobs start growing or right after you start getting discharge because you'll be disspointed.

Tips for dealing with discharge: It's so annoying,at first you'll probably be paranoid, and you'll use lots of liners and pads, but eventually you get used to it and you won't care anymore...also for me i started getting discharge about 3-4 months before i started getting signifigant hair down there

Discharge is so annoying, I almost always have to wear a pantiliner, to avoid the 'wet panties' problem, but I guess it's just one of those things you have to live with.

Hey girl, sounds like you may get your period soon, but no one can say for sure excpet Mother Nature. As far as the rib cage thing measure it one more time. It should double up on either 30 inches or 28 inches. Whichever one you get that is what you are.
