Addicted to porn


I’m 14, and I’ve been looking at porn. I’m really not that kind of person, and I want to stop. But it has gotten kind of addicting in a way. 
 
Dear Porned,
Many teens, especially guys, find themselves intrigued by such material. Your curiosity is normal, but one problem with pornography is that it’s so degrading to women. Respectable women don’t look or act like that. Looking at porn can indeed become addicting, but give yourself some credit: You’ve been able to stop for weeks at a time. Get yourself to sign off, and make plans with friends instead. You might even consider saying to your mom, “I stumbled onto a really gross site, and it’s OK with me if you want to block that stuff.” She’d probably be glad to change the parental controls or move the computer to a common area, no questions asked.

It happened to me to for a while. I didn't like it and i couldn't live with myself. I also started having really gross dreams. But I wasn't like that. I would wake up in the morning and be like "eww, that was disgusting". But i got passed it and everything is fine now!

Same here.. I was on my family's computer just messing around and I wanted to find a photo that was on my brothers user account, and I was looking in his documents for it and well.. yeah. It's been 5 months now, kind of tempting sometimes, but haven't even tried to yet! Smile

i had this same problem whenever my parents wernt home i would go on my dads laptop and look it up but that was back in july and i realised that it was disguesting and now i look at everyone in a diffrent way....anyway it's been 5 months and i havent even been tempted!!!
