BEAUTY 101: Fab Hair for Your Fall Dance!

Whether ya want romantic curls, a pretty pony or a DIY headband, we’ve got easy ways to get hair that’ll amaze.

Classic Curls

Take a wide-barrel curling iron, and grab enough hair to make a plump curl. Slide the iron from the top of your hair to the bottom and wrap the hair around the iron.
 
Hold for about 6-8 seconds and let the curl fall in place. Spritz on medium hold hairspray and run your fingers gently through the curls for a natural, loose look. Accessorize those locks!

Sweet ‘n’ Low (for medium to long hair):

Keep some hair in front for bangs (if you don't have any, then don't worry). Tie back your hair in a semi-low ponytail behind your ear. Take a thick pinch of hair, twist it and wind it around around the elastic. Take a bobby pin and tuck the end of that strand and the pin into your hair so no one can see it. All Tied Up (for short hair)

Take a ribbon that matches your dress and tie it like a headband. Place the bow at the top right or left for an adorable tilt or tie it and let the loose parts of the ribbon peek out from beneath your bob. Cute as a button, babe! Satin Rose Headband, $5, forever21.com

I just went to my homecoming dance tonight and me and this guy that is totally adorable and I like, danced with me, like twirling me around and holding me close, and we even danced during the fast songs! omj. today was the funnest day EVER!!! there was a JV football game at our school and the opposing team was from CANADA!!!! HAHAHAHA! no offence to anyone from Canada, but I just think that a ways to travel/ Anywho, we whooped their buts, but thats not point. The game was after school and EVERYONE was there. Even my crush who doesnt go to our school anymore was there! So me and my bffl got money from my mom and went in, and o...m...j... it was sooo fun. So, im looking for a dress for homecoming, but i cant find one. First of all, im rather busty, so most of the dresses i tried on, i couldn't get over my bust, and they probably would have fit if i could get them over my chest. Do you have any suggestions?
Next, im overweight, so its hard for me to find a dress tat would fit me, especially my arms because theyre flabby. Do you have any suggestions on a style that would be flattering and possibly cover up my arms?
Also, i am having my hair done at a salon for homecoming, and my appointment is at 1:00, but homecoming starts at 7:00. DO you think my hair could stay in place for 6 hours plus the 3 and a half hours at the dance?? Thank you so much!!!!! (and sorry its so long!)

Try looking at forever 21 or like macy's for a dress. As for the type of dress, a nice wrap dress that is quarter sleeve will look good too. As for the hair timing that should be fine just put in extra hairspray.

Hey girl!

Getting braces is a part of growing up. Your mouth will be sore and sensitive for a couple of days. Don't be ashamed of braces. They do make clear ones but you can definitely tell what kind of food you have been eating cuz they discolor easily and show your food too.

Brianna- I have this one friend (who happens to by my BFF’s BF) and he told me a few things like that guys think it’s cute when girls say stupid things…that helped me a lot. Any way, to me, it just seems awkward to go up to guys and talk to them. I’m afraid of freaking out or like totally mixing words up. Even if I don’t like them. I’m not sure why.
