Make a PUMPKIN Face!

Last Halloween, I had a spooky sleepover and we made pumpkin masks. The pumpkin-papaya exfoliates your skin and helps clear up breakouts. Try it!

What You’ll Need:

1 papaya

¼ cup of yogurt

1 15-ounce can of pumpkin

1 ½ teaspoons of honey

What You’ll Do:

Cut the papaya in half, remove seeds, spoon the fruit into a bowl and mash with a fork. Combine papaya and yogurt. Add the pumpkin and honey, and mix well. Apply mask to a clean face in a think layer. If you have sensitive skin, test the mask on a small section of your wrist first. Leave mask on for 10 minute. Don’t worry if your face tingles a little. Rinse off. Now you’re glowing brighter than a jack-o-lantern.

If you do the mask at a sleepover, it is probably a good idea to hand out hair ties and maybe even headbands because nobody will want pumpkin mask in their hair. If it's a Halloween-themed party, then use orange and black hair ties, headbands, and barrettes.

The recipe calls for canned pumpkin, which is the inside of the pumpkin cooked and cooled. Best, Miliana

you can also make other masks and mix and match
honey-please put into every masks you make
yeast-tends to draw out flaws in your skin so dont use it before a party or something
banana-good for dry skin
cream-good for dry skin
avacodo-brightens skin
any kind of base oil(sunflower, almond, vegatable,)-just plain good for your skin
egg-just plain good for your skin
lemon-brightens skin and gets rid of blackheads

I use a prescription cream from my doctor and it makes my face all itchy!! Even just putting it right on the zits it makes my eyes and chin itchy!! It is so annoying because I hate my acne and want to get rid of it. any suggestions??

yeah i hav acne too and my dermtologist prescribed some pils for me and they worked amazing but i had to stop using them bcause they damaged my teeth (they got really yellow)apparently its a side afect that they never told me about

Okay so i have acne and no matter what type of acne solution i take it never sloves the problem. I even went to the doctors to get pills for it but they don't work that well either! Am i doing something wrong, what should I do! please help.

Hey Girl,

Well I would go back to the Dr and see if he can suggest a topical solution as well. Look at your diet to make sure it is well balanced and you are eating healthy sometimes that can help. Acne is really hard and I am sure you aren't doing anything wrong, it is just one of those many joys of growing up. Good Luck!
