Tampons scare me!

 
I want to try tampons, but I’m afraid that they will be too big for me. Are there any brands out there for teens?

One of the most common misconceptions when it comes to tampons is that all these varieties are made to fit different body sizes. They’re not. They are meant for how heavy or light your menstrual flow is. If you have very light bleeding, try Tampax Lites Junior. If you practically hemorrhage every month, you may need to go with something more. The most important thing to remember, though, is to always use the lowest absorbency possible to prevent toxic shock syndrome. TSS is a very, very rare disease caused by tampon use, but many cases are a result of women using the wrong absorbency. 
 
Used properly, tampons are an extremely safe alternative to bulky pads. You can always use a pantiliner to catch any overflow. And be sure to change your tampons often. You should never leave them in longer than eight hours, so you might want to go with the bulk under your nightie. Who’s gonna know?

i finally got the courage to try them and they are kinda scary at first but totally worth it! just dont give up if you are having trouble!

I have some tampons and I don't even have my period yet! I have tampax pearl, does anyone here use yampax compac pearl? If so do you like them here is a quiz!

1)Do you have your period?
2)Do you use pads or tampons?
3)What brand of pads do you like best?
4)What kind of tampon do you like best?
5)What kind of aplicator do you use?
6)Any comments or stories about your period or the suplies?


I can't really awnser any of these quesstions though cause I don't have my period! So please answer cause it would help out all the girls with out their periods like meSmile

i am reallt scared too! i dont think my mom wants me to use them either--because i can litteraly hurt myself blinking, so if they were scared when they gave me a razor and said: you can shave, they must be freaked to ever let me use a tampon lol

omg i was soooo scared when i tried my first tampon! lol. all my friends were like it hurts so bad!!! but i dont know what they were doing cuz it doesnt hurt at all!!! then its sooo nice cuz you dont have to worry about any leaking in your undies!!! lol. trust me- just try them.
