Hey girl, Do not touch them- spreading is the number one way to get more pimples! I would use a heavy duty night cream like you can find at the drug store. They are not that expensive and do the trick. xo Annemarie

OK so i have been thinking about using mineral makeup to cover up some of my ance.My mom is going to let me so that is good....but i haven't been wearing make up all this year to school and i don't want to be asked if i am wearing make up because people at my school just don't in my grade.What should i say to people if they ask me...or should i just wait until winter break then come back wearing make up...but still what would i say if some asks me?

Hi Mod Lately, I've been getting these bumps on my head like bug bites or pimples. I was scratching one and it came out like a scab. ( I know, gross) Is it possible to get head pimples? If not, do you have any ideas on what it is? Thank you Mod, you guys rock!

ok so i don't really have acne at all i just always get big red zits on my nose. but they are always just on my nose i never get zits anywhere else...but the problem is is that i can never get them to go away!! they stay on my face forever! my nose is never clear. plus they are really hard to cover up. waht should i do about them? Hi! This is really cool! I learned this neat and easy face-mask thing and it works really well. You slice up a banana, put it in a bowl, pour some honey over it, mash the bananas and mix it well, and ta-da! It's nice! I haven't done it in a while, so now I gotta get out and buy some honey! LOL!

I have a pretty active social life. Most Fridays, I'll go home with a friend after school, we waste a little time (on the GL site of course!) then change and go to a party with our girlfriends. (okay, and yeah, there are sometimes guys there.) My BFF always has one or two really cute pieces that she can wear from school to the party so she doesn't really look that different, just more in synch with the scene. But i always change my whole outfit (and my makeup!) What are some simple, and inexpensive, ways to transition from day to night?

 

 

Hey babes, One of my favorite accessories is actually pants- leggings! I love wearing leggings with a lng tshirt during the day then sliding on some boots and a skirt over them at night. You can also dress up a TShirt and jeans by adding a sparkly cardigan and funky headband. Just add some sparkly jewelry and you're ready to go.  xo Annemarie

Hey girl, You can make your own scrub with sugar or salt grains, or even large peices of grains and add it to mashed fruit base: try strawberry or bananas. Also, try making a mask with honey, banana, and yogurt (plain unflavored). Just add them all in a blender. xo Annemarie

i went to a cosmetology camp and is wuz fun! we learned how to use all different types of make-up and hair/nail styles! concealer is kinda fun to use cuz in the summer you use ur skintone color. But, in the winter u can use a tanner one after ur suntan goes away. hey girlies plez check out my profile and leave comments!!

Hey girlie, I live in the Northeast too and this winter I am living in really long leggings! Express makes some great stretchy black ones and they even go long enough to cover half my feet so I can tuck them into boots or even wear flats and have warm feet. They go with long tops, or dresses so well! xo Annemarie

What's up mod?! ok... so this is kind of weird, but I have a round face and my cheeks are kind of big, when ever I smile I get creases from the side of my nose to the edges of my lips. I smile a lot, but whenever I'm not smiling, I have these pale lines from the creases and they look really weird! Is there any way I can prevent them or at least cover them up?

Hey girl, You might have Rosacea which is a skin condition that makes you blush very easily or causes general redness. At home, make sure to use lots of sun screen and lotions for sensitive skin, or try to see a dermatologist who can diagnose this for you. xo Annemarie

angel88 -- I know a good way to make a sugar scrub! All you need is sugar and some type of baby or canola oil. Just get about 3 cups of sugar and stir in the oil until it has a consistency that you like. Then use it as a regular sugar scrub. Enjoy! Smile

So i have acne usually it isn't really bad a get a few noticeable zits and blackheads here and there. I want to get rid of them but nothing works and my mom wont buy anything ale's we can't afford a dermatologist. Hey girl, Blackheads are so easy to scrub away. You can make a scrub with some large grained natural brown sugar (the big crystal kind, not the fine kind) and mixing it into your liquid cleaner. Then, rub on gently and use a hand towel to wip it off your face. Any kind of scrub works miracles on blackheads. xo Annemarie

try getting some lavender spray. my friend wasn't feeling good one day, and couldn't get to sleep, so i brought over some lavender spray and sparyed it on her pillow. it really relaxes your body and she was out in 5 minutes!!! hope it works for you.

anonalizzy - I have a trick for going asleep easy. Sometimes that happens to me too, where I start thinking about everything and can't fall asleep! So I try to slowly relax my body. I work from my toes, and then up to my knees... The rest of my legs.... slowly I'll make my whole body relax and that helps me fall asleep quicker! Also, I find it's easier to fall asleep when your stomach isn't very full. Hope I helped!

I have a trick when you wake up and can't get back to sleep. Count to ten and then count down from ten the nine and eight and so on. Keep doing it. Seriously it works I've been doing since last week and I'm out in 2 tries. Smile

Listen to your mom.  If she doesn't want you wearing makeup right now maybe she knows something that you don't or it just simply isn't a good time.  Just ask her about it, and remember your mom has your best interest at heart.

HEY MOD! i hope your day is going awesome, but i have a quick question. lately its really hard for me to fall asleep. i'm always thinking about school or boys or working out and it takes forever to fall asleep. then in the morning i have dark circles and i'm exhausted! any tips on how to fall asleep?




Aww! Thanks, cutie! Hope yours is too. I used to have the same problem and there are a lot of ways to help you sleep better! Try drinking a cup of warm milk right before bed. It'll help you to feel sleepier and fall asleep faster. Also, do not exercise right before. Exercise a couple hours before bed time.
