Editor Obsession: Christmas movies!

OK, I have to say though that I do get sick of the Christmas music and more importantly the newer versions of the old classics. But what I never can tire of are my favorite Christmas movies! I could watch them all year round, but there is something special about viewing them strictly in the holiday season. (And I must confess: There is a strict rule that bans Christmas movies before Thanksgiving night in my house.) So here is my all time favorite list—counting backwards—of Christmas enchantment!

5. The Grinch Who Stole Christmas (cartoon version) – It’s short, but still manages to make my smile grow two sizes bigger. And a dog with a stick tied on his head as antlers? Too cute.

4. A Christmas Toy- This is an old one many of you might not know, but it has Muppets and I love Muppets! And this is a sentimental favorite in my family—we named one of our golden retrievers Rugby, after the toy tiger.

3. While You Were Sleeping- Technically this isn’t a Christmas movie, but in our house, we consider it one. It’s a great romantic comedy that is at the same time so much more.

2. A Charlie Brown Christmas- Classic. Enough said..

1. A Muppet’s Christmas Carol- It isn’t Christmas unless I’ve watched it at least ten times. Didn’t I say I love the Muppets?

I love "The Grinch" and "Home Alone". I watch both of those movies every year and I also love "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer".

I know this kind of makes me sound like a spoiled brat but I really do keep thinking of the poor kids whose Christmas was much worse.
I have wanted a cell phone since probably 5th grade. I'm in 7th. In 5th grade I think it would have been stupid for my parents to give me a cell phone cause hardly any of my freinds had them so there would be no point. I asked for one for Christmas this year and I really expected to get one and I didn't. My Christmas was actually not good at all. I got a gift card to limited too, a radio, and some other small stuff I'll never use. My sister got an iPod and my brother got expensive football cards and jerseys. Why did I pull the short straw? And how do I get a cell phone? I've told my parents all the reasons I want one and point it out whenever it would be a good time for me too have one. Such as going to the library and staying after school. Please help. And please don't think of me as some spoiled brat. I'm sorry. Thanks so much,

Home Alone is my all time fav Xmas movie. i HAVE 2 watch it at least once every year. and me and my mom just watched It's A Wonderful Life (Never seen it b4-- wow lol) and thats now one of my favs 2. I LUVV Elf its hilarious! and the cartoon version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

the grinch is one of my faves. i <3 christmas w/ the kranks and a real tear jerker is CHRISTMAS SHOES. i cried so hard in that one. you have heard the song that goes I WANNA BUY THEESE SHOES FOR MY MOMMA PLEASE...and the little boy want his mom to look pretty when she meets Jesus in heaven. but he is poor and needs money to buy the shoes. it is insainly sad. but it is a must see. it will most deffinately give you a new look of giving at Christmas time.

The Grinch who Stole Christmas is my favorite! For some reason I've always loved that movie...
Also, Home Alone is really funny! I love how he beats up those burgular people!
And in my house Christmas with the Kranks is a movie we watch waaay too much.
