Cute Pom-Pom Chicks


 
Old-school pom-pom crafts are fun to make and really adorable. Plus, they're super easy to make with the kids you're sitting for! We used a pom-pom maker to turn a wad of yellow yarn into a cute lil' chickie.

What You'll Need:
 

-Bucilla Doodle-Loom* (plaidonline.com)
-skein of medium-worsted yellow yarn
-yellow pipe cleaner
-felt scraps
-glue
-scissors

What You'll Do:
 

1. Following the directions on your pom-pom tool, make four medium pom-poms. Tie all four tightly together at their centers to form the body.
2. Make two small pom-poms, tying them together to form the head.
3. Cut a 5-inch section of the pipe cleaner, and bend in half. Push through the medium pom-pom to make legs. Cut two 1-inch lengths of pipe-cleaner, and bend around bottom of each leg to form feet.
4. Use craft glue to attach the slamm pom-pom to top of body.
5. Cut 1/4 -inch square of orange felt; glue to the front of the chicks' head for the beak. Cut teeny black circles from black felt, and glue just above the beak to make eyes. Peep-peep!

hey so right now im assistant teaching 4 dance classes and in a few weeks i will start doing one of them as the head teacher all by myself Smile So for the little girls we do a stretch that we call the flower stretch so i wanted to make a big flower and put a cut out of a butterfly in the middle (for another part of the stretch) to help them remember what to do but i have no clue how to make this like with what materials?? thanks.




Hey girl! You could cut it out with paper and use markers to decorate.

MODMODMODMODEMERGENCY!!!!!!!! im babysitting really soon and the parents are kinda neat so i need a good activity that wont dirty the kids or the house any ideas???




Hey girl,




Play with tinker toys or legos. Something that makes a bit of a mess when you're playing, but is easy to clean up. Or play hide and seek. The kids will have pointers on what they like to do and the parents will tell you all of their rules, so don't worry.
