DIY Lip Gloss

 
Babysitting for a bunch of little girls? They’ll love this craft idea because they can create a lip glass in their fave flavor.

Things You’ll Need:
 

-1 tsp of honey

-1 tbsp Vegetable Shortening
-Dry drink mix (Kool Aid works really well and gives your lips a slight red tint)
-1/4 cup of hot water
-new lip gloss containers (you can find them at Michael’s or other craft stores otherwise use cleaned out old lip gloss containers)

 

What You'll Do:
 

1. Mix honey and vegetable shortening into a bowl.
2. In a separate bowl, mix drink mix and hot water.
3. Drip the drink mix and water into other bowl until the color and flavor is how you want them.
4. Pour into the new containers.
5. Place in refrigerator for an hour or until lip gloss is solid.

I am babysitting tomorrow for a 10 yr old girl and a 4 yr old boy. What are some fun things that they can both do together?? And please do not tell me to go to the babysitting link on GL because i have read all of those articles! I need some ideas!!




Hey babe, I like playing outside games like chalk and tag or hide-and-go-seek. Chilling out with a movie you all might like (Finding Nemo is a good one) is also a good idea.
