Having a BFF slumber party this weekend? Why not turn it into a spa party! Your and your girls can pamper yourselves at home, and have one amazing time together. It's chilly outside, so grab your bathing suit and warm up inside!
Have all your BFFs over and make sure they bring their bathing suits! When they arrive, you all can fill up the tub with hot water and relax, or just hop into that hot tub and turn on the jets!
Once you’re all relaxed, drain the water and you can make the bathroom into a sauna (unless you have access to a real one!). You can run the tub water on hot, and let the steam rise around you. The steam is supposed to cleanse your impurities. Not that you’re impure, it’s just a lotta fun!
Now it’s time for a little yoga! Yoga is a hot new way for girls to get in shape, keep that figure, relax, and de-stress for sure. It can also help us become more focused on the things that are really important to us, like our schoolwork, sports, etc. Lots of cities have classes where you can go for a yoga class, but you and your girls, can grab a yoga DVD from the store and follow right along!
Ready for your facials? We have two recipes made just for you! For oily skin, mix 1 cup cooked oatmeal (let it cool first!), 1 tsp honey, 1 tsp. wheat germ, and 1 tsp. brewer’s yeast. For all you girls with more dry skin, mix 1 mashed avocado, 1 tsp. lemon juice, and 1 tsp. mayonnaise. Slice up some cucumbers, then coat your face in the mix that’s right for your skin type and put one cucumber over each eye (they’re moisturizing!). Lay down and relax while you let the mix moisturize and rejuvenate your skin.
To take the facials off…have each girl grab a washcloth, and soak it under water, then toss it in the microwave for a couple seconds until it’s warm enough for you, but not too hot! Place the washcloths over your faces. Doesn’t that feel good! Rinse off with warm water what the washcloth doesn’t take off.
Next, grab your favorite make up and nail polish and glam-it-up, girl. Any color you like is sure to be super chic. Once you and your BFFs are beautified, sit down and feast on some delicious goodies!
