Perfect BBQ Chicken Pizza

 
 
Trying to shape up for summer but can't fight your pesky pizza cravings? This simple recipe will nix your need to nosh without piling on the extra calories! Serve it at your next sleepover party or surprise your ‘rents with this easy 'n' healthy dish.

What You’ll Need:

Pillsburry Refrigerated Pizza Crust
Barbecue Chicken (Can be a container from the grocery store, or a homemade recipe, etc.)
1 tomato, sliced
Fresh Mozzarella cheese, sliced
Basil or oregano to taste


What You’ll Do:
 

1. Heat oven to 425°F.
2. Spray 12-inch pizza pan with cooking spray. Unroll dough in pan; starting at center, evenly press out the dough to edge of the pan to form the crust.
3. Carefully place the pan in the oven and bake 7 to 9 minutes or until the dough is light golden brown.
4. Carefully take out of the oven and spread the bbq chicken on top of the dough
5. Use as many tomato slices as you want. Place 'em on top of the BBQ chicken
6. Add the slices of fresh mozzarella cheese
7. Top it off with basil or oregano to taste
8. Carefully place back in the oven for a couple minutes or until the cheese is bubbly

9. Take it out, slice it up, and its ready to serve!

Oh, I've made this before. It's delicious, and pretty much the only thing I CAN make without setting the house on fire.

i have a best friend, (lets call her A) well A dosent have a cell phone and i do, she doesnt hav a ipod and i do, (we r in 6th grade) well i spent the weekend with her and her two sisters. my mom said her mom was talking to her and my mom told me that A is worried that wen we get to high school me and the other girls wont like her cus she dosent have a cell phone, i pod, stuff like that. she thinks that we wont like her. well today in school she was really weird like she didnt talk to me at all so my other friend L went to talk to her and asked if she was mad at me, and A said i spent 4days with her ( i spent the weekend at her house) why would i want to hang out with her now i have other friends 4days with her and 4days without her and im fine. well that botherd me, my mom also said that her mom said told A not to worry about high school and that it wont matter if she dosent have thoes things cus she has one good friend me. i dont know wut to do...

Hey babe, you're mom is right. Friends don't like each other for what electronics they have but for what kinda people they are! Your friend might be feeling down right now but when she realizes that her friends aren't going anywhere, she'll be ok. Just let your pal know that you love and support her and won't ever judge her on what she has.

I'm a vegetarian, too, so this doesn't sound very appealing to me either. Oh, well.

Pita pizzas are also an excellent way to eat pizza without all the junky stuff. Just use some bottled tomato sauce and top with whatever you want. Or, you can make a tomato-basil one - top a lightly oiled pita with tomatoes, fresh basil leaves, and a bit of part-skim mozzarella. Bake in the oven until crispy and YUM!
