Chic Center Parts

 
 
Necklines have gone totally asymmetrical this spring, but parts are walkin’ the straight and narrow. Sure, center parts may not have gone outta style, but this season they are especially glamorous. Our only rule: don't let hair hang flat...natural waves and volume are in too.
 
How to get the look:

1. Shampoo and condition your hair as you normally would.

2. Towel dry locks gently.

3. If your hair is particularly knotty, run a wide-tooth comb through it.

4. Spray your roots at your crown, around your hairline and along your part with a root lifter.

5. Use a rattail comb to part your hair down the middle. Hint: the center of your nose makes a great guideline.

6. Let hair air dry until it's just a li’l damp.

7. Got flyaways? Squirt a drop of anti-frizz serum in your hand, rub your hands together and run your fingers through your hair. That’ll smooth down any frizz.
 

 
8. Use your hair dryer on low heat to fully dry strands. Opt to either run your fingers (gently!) through your hair as your blow drying, or use a round brush. Effortlessly glam.

Hey girl,

There are so many great hairstyles out there! I'm not even sure where to start! One of personal favorite hairstyles is hair with layers. Not only does it look chic down, but it also looks fab when itstied up to a pony. Now that the weather is getting warmer and warmer, try opting for a haristyle that you can shape in different ways to look great when you go out!

Why, hello there MOD!
I have pretty short hair maybe just above my shoulders (that's the only way it doesn't look really stringy) and I would love to try some new styles on it but I don't know what in the world would look good! I'll hear about the loose buns and everything that I'd really want to try but my hair is too short for it, so is there maybe anything for short hair that would look similar?
