Dandruff Dilemma

I always have dandruff. I’ve used anti-dandruff shampoo, but it doesn’t work. What can I do?

If you’re feeling flaky, check with a dermatologist for a definite diagnosis. “Dandruff is uncommon in adolescents,” says Dr. Alexa Boer Kimball. “The problem could be psoriasis—red, scaly skin on the scalp, elbows and knees.” If dandruff is the culprit, try Head & Shoulders Intensive Treatment with pyrithione zinc, a turbo-charged ingredient that kills dandruff-causing fungus.

A dermo can also prescribe a mild steroid gel or lotion. Meanwhile, ban all black sweaters from your wardrobe.

also, is it bad to scratch your dandruff like off of the front of your head?

It's not bad... it just leaves a lot of white flakes.

1. Say ur name 10x
2. Say ur mom's name 5x
3. Say ur crushes name 3x
4. then paste this in 4 other spots, if you do this your crush will kiss you on the nearest friday!

I am so glad I dont have this problem but when it gets really dry sometimes it happens. But not very much at all.

OMG head & shoulders works!

i dont have dandruff but i guess dry scalp so it produces like a creamy material say when i sweat (im sorry if that sounds gross but im used to it ) so i use it.

i have it for dry scalp in so many diff scents!
and it's pretty cheap also

try every kind out there cuz i KNOW one works!

hey, i don't trust this!

my mom always gets me puberty books. one of them says:

Does you scalp feel dry and itchy? Are you shoulders covered with flakes of skin, making your dark-colored shirts look like they're sprinkled with snow? You may have a case of dandruff, a very comon condition that's easy to treat. Try a dandruff shampoo from the drugstore. If drugstore shampoos don't work, ask your doctor for something stronger.

Everybody in my family had dandruff, and these other comments say they do too! I think it's normal... really normal!
