I have little white bumps on my face!

I know they aren’t whiteheads. What are they, and how do I get rid of them?

According to New York City dermatologist Dr. Jane Taylor, “While only a visit too your dermatologist ensures and accurate diagnosis, it could be milia. If it is milia, they are not harmful. But if you are worried about the way they look, your dermatologist can make a super-tiny incision to open up the spot and drain it.”

The two don’ts with milia are simple. One, don’t try to get rid of them with acne medication. It won’t work and will affect otherwise healthy skin. And two, don’t try to “pop” milia yourself. You’ll most likely end up with an infection and scarring lots worse than tiny white bumps.

mod mod mod I have horrible bacne. Can you tell me how to get rid of it. One of my friends told me to use my face cleaner.

I've heard that works, and with your back you don't have to be as gentle as you do with your face with cleansers. So try some tough cleansers too. Best,

hey um i have really chapped lips above and below my mouth. I play the clarinet so below got worse and it was all fine, but i lost my chapstick

Is it ok to dry shave if you just lightly brush the razor on the top of the hairs ?

Hey babe,

It can really irritate your skin, won't shave all of the hair, and will make your hair grow back faster. On top of that, it's a lot easier to cut yourself.

i have those. it's getting better though. i accidentally popped 4 of them today. whoops. at leat now they'll trun into backheads. my mom would never take me to the dermatologist. oh well.
