Sweat-Proof Summer Makeup

 
I take time to get all dolled up in the summer but then I always get all sweaty! How can I keep the sweat under control and still have a pretty summer glow?

Girl, you are not alone! Sweating can put a major damper (literally) on any diva's day. We've got the tools and techniques you need to know to get rid of the sweat and keep you glistening in the sun.

Use oil-free face wash and moisturizers. Even though you might think that moisturizing is the last thing you need to do when you're sweating up a storm, it's still important because it'll keep your skin looking healthy and fresh. And the water-based products, rather than oil-based, will keep your skin from getting greasy during the day. Pick up a moisturizer with SPF for an added bonus!
 
 
 
 
 
Go easy on the makeup. You've already got the sunkissed look, so you don't need to cake on foundation. Use cover-up to hit any blemishes or pimples but leave the rest of your skin bare. To get a soft summer glow, blend a little highlighter into the apples of your cheeks and brow bones. Your skin will be able to breathe and your pores won’t be covered by loads of powder.
 
Carry something with you to pick up perspiration. You've got lots of options—cleansing wipes, a pressed powder compact or oil blotters. All will do the job and help fight the sweat. If you're acne-prone, steer clear of powder compacts since it can clog up your pores.

I use the netrogena cleanser. My face is completely acne free and really soft and fresh! wonderful product!

MOD!!!!!! Do you know of any tinted sunscreens? Cause all I can find are self tanners and tinted lotions but none have suncreen in them. I burn REALLY easily and I never get a tan, so I want to get a tinted sunscreen so I don't look like a pale fish. I saw a good one for face, but not for my bod which is what I need it for. thx <3magzy

You will have to get two separate products, a sunscreen and a self tanner.

I dont want my skin to be super white anymore but i dont want to damage it by tanning. is there any brand of self tanners that you know are good? cuase i tryed this one brand called neutrogena and it made my skin orange. thx!

 

 

Hey babes,  Try Jergens, they have this lotion that says for fair skin.  It will tan your skin over time so it looks more natural.  XO Lori
