Savory summer pasta salad

 
Want another healthy lunch choice that's perfect for summer? Try a refreshing and easy-to-make pasta salad. The mixture of whole wheat pasta, fresh veggies, and tangy Italian dressing will be a great way to fill you up and get you re-energized!

What You'll Need:

Box of whole wheat pasta
Bell Peppers
Broccoli pieces
Olives
Tomatoes
Asparagus
*Or add any other veggies of your choice
Any Italian dressing

What You'll Do:

1. Cook the box of pasta for 8-10 min as recommended.
2. Drain pasta and let cool till room temperature. (It helps to place in the fridge for a little).
3. Cut pieces of all veggies into bite-size pieces.
4. Mix in veggies and dressing with pasta (as much as desired!)

5. Serve and enjoy!

Thanks so much for all the help! in the end m y mom and bro were out and asked if I needed anything 4 my salad and I said aspargus and tomatoes. It is now a aspargus, tomatoe, onion, yellow pepper penne pasta salad with Italin dressing. Smile Thank you so much but my mom came home crying, how can I cheer her up?

Your pasta sounds delish! Try doing something nice for your mom, like a chore she hasn't asked you to do but you know needs to be done or making her a treat while you're making your pasta salad and see if that helps.

1 more thing we dont have many veggies so is it ok if i add tuna and use yellow bell pepper, onion, carrots and corn?
