MOD!.this is kind of diffrent.when i was younger i had an alergic reaction from eating seafood.i itched all over my body and it was like a rash every where.now that im 13 it went away but im left with white dots all over my skin.really little dots and im tan.how do i get rid of it.i had it there for years.

i am realy tan, but it doesn't look right on me, and when i am tan, people look at me like i'm another dumb, tan, blonde. but go to florida and we camp, so i can't get away from the sun, plus i love to swim the whole time i'm there. help!

Hey girl, don't sweat what's natural. Just be sure to wear sunscreen (you can try higher SPFs if you want to get less sun) and reapply often. In the end, it's all about protecting your skin. Don't sweat your golden hue as long as you're getting it in a heathy way.

MOD MOD MOD!!! I never tan and my friends too. I look like ghostly pale next to them am it stinks!! Is there anything I can do besides sun tan because I burn badly fastly! my mom dosent want me to use anything to help because she says its bad for my skin! I really want a tan! what should I do???

Hey girl! If using a sunless tanner is out of the question you may have to embrace your skin color! Take pride in the fact that your skin will still look fab when you're older and your tan girlfriends prob won't look as wrinkle free!

Hey girl! Let her know that you and your bestie are way excited about the premiere, and being able to go on opening night would be amazing! Ask her why she's not so into it. If it's just because it's gonna be packed, try to compromise. See if she'll take you if you and your bff can get the tickes in advance. Offer to pay for your ticket too. Hope it works out for you! no no no!
those self tanning lotions don't work!
you can never spread it perfectly evenly and you end up with blotchy skin because you sometimes miss spots.
it happened to my friend!!!!

If you want a tan, try tanning in the sun!
If you don't like to swim or hike or do sports outside, then just lying on a chair for a few hours with some sunglasses and a book gets you tan in no time! The only reason I could think of anyone needing products/make-up to be tan was that if they lived in some place it rained 24/7 and it was pretty much impossible for them to get a real tan.
Seriously though--stick to the natural!!

MODMODMODMODMODMODMODMOD I'm going shopping like today or tomorrow and i was wondering if the bath and body works or the aerie self-tanners work well cause i wanna use one but idk which ones are good and i havent seen the one in the pic in any stores before. and is it unhealthy to use a self-tanner?

It is MUCH healthier to use self-tanner then actually sunning yourself outside! Bath and Body Works has a great self-tanner by True Blue Spa called "Glow and Ready." It's a self-tanning mouisturizer that gradually gives you that summery glow as you use it so it looks real!

the thing about self-tanner is that when you leave it on your skin, it starts to smell. it's disgusting! my mom got it for me to even out my skin because i got darker but the spots where my swimsuit covered me was the same color as my natural skin. [not sunburned, i don't get sunburned easily because i have cinnamon brown skin]

That sounds like a great idea! You can pick up some easy things like bubble bath and bath salts and scented candles and let her take a long relaxing bath while you take care of your sibs. I do! Why not take your front pieces and pin the long part back to give you the bang effect and test out how you like 'em! You can always ask your family and friends what they think too!

Hey babe, this is normal for blondes. Ask your hair stylist what he/she suggests, but other than that check any drugstore, I'm sure they sell some sort of shampoo for chlorinated hair.

i already have a natural tan which everyone says is a good tan!!!. you can just sit in the sun or go swimming without sunscreen. thats it! and you dont have to buy expensive things that make u tan!

Hey chica,

I went through the same thing! Try using a small amount of vaseline on your lashes. They'll look full as if you just used tonsa of mascara. I still use that beauty advice till this day! Hope this helps.

I would definatly try Jergens tanner because it DOES NOT turn you orange at all. It works really well but it takes about a week to c a noticable difference. try the face tanner from them too its good. just make sure you put it around ur mouth too cause I forgot that and i had this tan face and then around my mouth was white lol but i fixed it and it looked good. and jergens has shades to pick from too like fair, medium or dark so u can pick one good for ur skin tone.

Hey girl! I wish I could help you out, but this sounds like a prob. in which it's better to talk with a dermatologist (a skin doc.). Talk to your mom about taking you to go see a dermatologist. In the meantime, try to be confident with the skin you were born in. Chances are, while you might be super embarrassed, no one else even notices that your arms are darker.

MODMODMODMODMODMOD i bought this gradual tanner at winners its calles SMOOTH GLOW by Sally Hansen and on the back of it it says : WARNING:this product does not contain sunscreen and does not protect against sunburn. Repeted exposure of unprotected skin while tanning may increese the risk of skin again, skin cancer, and other harmful effects to the skin even if you do not burn. should i use it? or is it unsafe?

It is safe to use as a SELF-tanner. However, a self-tanner should never be mistaken for sunblock! It contains no SPF and will not protect you outside in the sun. That means that while you'll look super duper tan and have the mind-set that you could never get a sunburn.. you WILL! So make sure when you use it your also putting on the sunblock when tanning outside!

Hey babe! Definitely don't lay in the sun all day - you could end up doing a lot more harm than good to your skin in the long run! Try using a bronzing powder on your face for a nice sun-kissed glow.
