Sometimes I itch down there.

What’s it from, and how can I get rid of it?

Feeling a little uncomfortable? “Genital itching is probably from simple irritation of a yeast infection,” says gynecologist Dr. Adelaide Nardone. What’s the difference? Yeast infections are accompanied by a curdy white discharge, and the area may be red and irritated.

Just a little itchy? Sweaty exercise gear or tight pants might be to blame. They trap moisture, causing bacteria to grow. Dr. Nardone suggests Vagisil Anti-Itch Cream, and to always sport cotton underwear. Think it might be an infection? See your doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment.
