MOD- I'm a horrible conversationalist. I'm either very quiet or say the wrong things. It's seriously ridiculous. My school has like the nicest people. For example the quarterback of the varsity football team is good friend with the gothic guy. I mean everyone here gives everyone else a chance and I got a chance too. It's just that I can't seem to connect with anyone. I always say the wrong things, I don't really have a personality,and etc. I'm in a huge group of awesome people, but honestly I'm really no one friend. I'm just there. So how can I be a better conversationalist?????? Sorry if I sound like I'm whining. This is so not me.

 

Hey girl!  The best advice I can give you is just relax, be friendly, and have fun.  If you're nice, especially around a bunch of really accepting people, there's no reason for them to not like you!  I think maybe you're over thinking it and getting nervous, so take a deep breath and know it'll be fine.  Is there a club you're in that you love.  Chat with someone in there about it since you have something in common.  Compliment someone on a great outfit, or ask the guy next to you how his weekend was.  As you get more comfortable, it'll be easeir to put yourself out there.  Good luck! Hey girl, well the key to getting over that akwardness around them is to remeber they are human just like you. They laugh, cry and get nervous just like you. So no worries, just relax and talk to them like you would any normal person.
