MOD- so 2day's the 4th and i wanna do something. my parents said we could go c the fireworks, but those arent til 2nite so wat else can i do?? i have a tiny little cold (no puking or anything, just a runny nose and a cough), so i dont think my parents will let me do a whole lot, but do u have any fun things 2 do mayb with friends?

Hey girl! Get a group of pals together (whether at your house or someone else's) and hang outdoors, catch up on each other's lives, and eat lots of yummy BBQ. If there's a pool you could go to, you guys could also hang out there. You could also check out your local newspaper and see if any parades, festivals, or any other activities are going on in your town or nearby today. Whatever you do, make sure to enjoy being with friends and being outdoors (if it's nice!)

Ok so there is this guy named Hayden who is like my older brother. he is 13. he has seven other siblings, and all but two are girls. My moms best friend said her son and his friends saw Hayden, and his older brother doing drugs, and my mom forbid me to ever hang out with hayden and his siblings ever again, but it is not true! I lvoe hayden he is like my brother, and i know he would never do drugs! he is the sweetest, nicest, most quiet person in the world, and he would never do drugs! but ive been thinking about it a lot now, and im starting to doubt him.... which makes me feel really bad cuz i lvoe him so much, and shouldnt doubt him, but i do. what do i do???? i asked him if he did it, or ever would and he said, u know me and u know i would never do that. please help i really really want to see him and his brothers! and i am almost positive that rumor isnt true! he would tell me im sure if he did do it. but he just isnt like that! please please please help me!! You can't make your parents change their minds but you can stick up for your friend to them and tell them you hope they change their minds about him. Remind them how responsible and trustworthy he is, be mature, and tell them that you know they're trying to protect you and that you respect and appreciate their decision. They might change their minds after they cool off a bit.

The best way to motivate yourself is to set a lot of small goals so you feel like you're achieving something all the time. Try running a little bit farther every day but make sure you take some days off just to talk or do some flexibility training so your muscles have time to build up. Good luck
