Got group trouble? When you're in a close group there are always the one bestie that you never get along with. To make matters worse, if you decide to stop being friends with one pal you could lose everyone. How do you show end a friendship without breaking up the group?
I'm in this group of six friends. But there's this one girl who we all turned against last school year. That's a long story; now she's back in the group. But she still acts immature and mean, especially to me. The two of us fight a lot, and we've ended up screaming at each other a lot.
The only reason we stop is because our other friends tell us to cut it out. I think, personally, we really don't like each other. Everything mean she's ever done to me I remember, and it's been building up inside of me. I'm not sure if I want to stop being "best friends" with her, because I don't want to break up the group. I'm really confused, and my feelings have been hurt for weeks now. Can you give me advice?
BFF Fix-it: You and your crew seem like you are pretty close. This girl most likely feels vulnerable since she's been kicked out of the group before. She may hold a grudge against you because of what happened the year before even though she still wants to be in the group.
Try talking to another bestie in your group and see how they feel about the way she is acting. If she is mean to you, stick up for yourself. If your group doesn’t stick up for you either then you might need to rethink who your friends are and are not. Better yet? Make a whole bunch of whole friends. Sure, having one clique of close chicas is great, but reach out to some new girls. It'll be refreshing to have someone else to hang with outside of the group without the drama.

you should try to avoid all the drama, and you should always have back up friends on hand!

I'm starting at a new school and idk what to wear the first day. I'm 13 (14 in September) going into 8th grade and starting at public school. I have a sort of contemporary style and wear really out there combos of clothes (it still looks super cute together) I wear glasses (black and green..don't have to wear them ALL the time) I have long chesnut brown hair and hazel eyes. I love make-up too. I don't have a ton of money to be spending ( I love going to thrift stores and finding super cute clothes there, I like Kohl's and TJ Maxx too). What should I wear the first day of school?

MMMOOODDDSSS!!! New school...what to do? OK, so I'm thirteen (fourteen in September) and have gone to private Catholic school my whole life. But, now I'm going to public school for 8th grade and have no idea what to expect. i'm nervous cause the kids in my neighborhood that go there I don't hang out with (AT ALL) and I'm into theatre (A LOT) and music (A LOT) and I don't do sports, I'm a dancer. I have a really out there, sort of contemporary style and I'm nervous I won't be able to make friends and I won't fit in. What should I expect and what's a good way to make new friends and fit in, yet still be an individual? -Kat ♥

my sitch is kinda like that...us 3 girls hang out but lately the 3rd girl has been bossing us around and getting mad at us if we just joke with her, so me and the other girl mostly hang out now...

Yay! 1st comment! I have a couple of "besties" like that. Most of the time I just ignore them, or act like I have no idea who they are and what they're talking about. And if your friends won't stick up for you, I would just drop them. It's no point in acting buddy-buddy with girls you hate.
