Cassie Steele goes Hollywood

 
You may recognize Cassie Steele as a star of the popular TV show Degrassi: Next Generation. But the 19-year old Canadian actress, who plays Manny Santos on the program, isn’t settling for the acting success she’s found on Degrassi. Instead, she’s on her way to adding “accomplished music artist” to her resume. Cassie has already toured around Canada twice, and is settling in Los Angeles to focus on her music career.

My cousin just turned twelve last month. She has been dressing... well, let's just say "non-tastefully", wearing makeup and saying guys are "hot" and "sexY" for quite a while now. I recently discovered she has a boyfriend!! I mean, he's only thirteen, so it's not like she's dating a high school guy or anything, but still, I am scared she is going to end up pregnant or something. I already told her I think she's much too young for a boyfriend. What else can I do?!?!

she's probably acting a little more mature than she really is, but this is pretty normal for her age. don't nag her about it too much or it might push her to do something she wouldn't have otherwise just to get back at you. Just encourage her to take things slow and really think about what she's doing.

i just started middle school, and its great! only one prob, this guy who sits next to me in EVERY class, except for my electives, has a crush on me, and WONT LEAVE ME ALONE!!(his locker is right next to me too!) second day of middle school and i all ready want to switch schools. And im not a very big "people person" so I wouldn't like talking to them that much even if they didn't like me. how can i let him know that i'm not interested in a nice way? or atleast ask him for some space? B/c i don't want to start a enemie thing, since i see him every day. that would be wayyy to ackward.

Hey babe,

That's a tough situation, especially since you see him every day. start off by trying to let him know subtly that you're not interested, like politely telling him you need to focus on something else when he tries to talk to you, but if he still won't take the hint you'll have to tell him more directly and let him know that you're flattered but not interested. It will hurt his feelings and it might be awkward at first, but hopefully he'll move on.

I didn't really like the song...i had to stop it 20 seconds in actually...rock is soooo not my thing...I am a classical pianist and organist so I like to try new things, but I much prefer, say, Allison Geddie, to this. (I<3 Allison Geddie!!)

Hey, I was wondering if there were any foods to avoid or things to do to make your teeth whiter.
I brush twice a day and i even used the whitening toothpast, but it never works because my teeth are still pale yellowish color.
I want them to look whiter & cleaner..but I cant use the whitening strips since they are too expensive.

Hey girl, there really isn't a REALLY quick way to get a flat stomach without taking into consideration so many other things. However, you can do some crunches that will help tone you abs. As for the thighs, try some cardio workout that helps lose weight in general. <3 Jeannie

Actually, I hate Degrassi. I know what about it I don't really like, except with the fact that it's bad high school drama that most teens have to deal with on a daily basis. Sometimes, it really bothers me, and sometimes I think it's sending out the wrong message to people. Like kissing your best friend's boyfriend is actually okay. The only thing I like is that at the end of the day, they're all friends, (most of them) no matter how dirty or twisted some of them are.
