ED BLOG: What's on your fitness must list?

 
It’s funny, as much as I L-O-V-E exercising, sometimes I put off workout-related stuff. This week, I signed for a race super-late and it cost me—almost $100. The runners who registered early had a cheaper fee, but I missed that deadline. Ugh.
 
There’s a bunch of other stuff on my must-do list that I’ve been slacking on: kung fu, rollerblading, modern dance and biking. It’s def time to get in gear and get out there.
 
But, hey, I’m a water bottle half full kind of girl. Instead of feeling bad, I’m gonna write out a brand-new fitness to-do list and post it in my room. On days when I’m bored with my routine, I’ll spy the to-try’s and check one out! Ya gotta love multitasking.

yeah i have! this year in fact! 4 soccer. im sad. i love soccer so much n my dad missed the dead line n late registered us but idt i made the teams, cuzi havnt gotten a call 4rm my coach. 2 bad cuz i love soccer so much! i love runin round the field. Frown

hey there! ok im going into high school and on our schedule it says we only have gym for one quarter!! and mines 4th quarter! i think thats wrong, i mean with all this obesity and all but still. i do tumbling like every tuesday and i might start taking it anouther day but i havnt asked about that yet. but i was wondering, what are some ways i can make up for gym class during the school gym?? because i dont have gym until 4th quarter! thanks!!

~are there any cures for tendor/sore breasts??
~how much do you grow (average) in a growth spurt? ~how about in a regular year? if you dont know plz just say what you think cuz i wanna figure something out with my height.

Hey girl, some good health Q's there. When it comes to breasts, there are no "cures" for them--it happens to everyone, especially before your period. The best thing you can do is ride it out. If the pain is that bad, talk to your mom or doc about taking Advil or an off-the-counter pain reliever. As for growth spurts, there's no one number you'll grow--it all depends on the person. Throughout your teen years, you will continue growing and the amount may vary depending on how old you are. Don't worry about the numbers though, girlie. Regardless of your height, you're gorgeous. Just stay healthy and let yourself grow. You'll reach great heights. Oh, and P.S. if you're still worried, try talking to your doc during your next physical. They'll have a better idea how tall you'll grow according to your records before!

i rearranged the furniture in my room (yay!)
its incredibly dusty any tips for easy and less frantic dusting???
im allergic to dust and have a bad allergy sickness (sorta has to do with allergies and asthma) that im on 6 medications including a decreasing inflamatory steroid Cry srry i had 2 vent my sadness hahah lol

Try to get some help dusting if you're really allergic. A cleaner like Pledge would probably help a lot.

People say lifting weights stunts your growth. I no this is a dumb question and sorry for wasting your time but does lifting something light like water bottles stunt your growth. I'm 5'0 and 87-90lbs and yes I already went through puberty.

I have never heard of weights stunting your growth. If you are worried about it, a one or three pound weight would be light enough.

i would really like to do gymnastics!! i have always wanted to but i'll prob get pretty talll and that won't work out. i love swimming in any water [unless its too cold!] but ya i agree w/ the first comment i would really like to start diving!! also i love to run and i do cross country in school but i haven't participated in any of the races that they do in my city for cancer and stuff and i would really love to do that!! MAke a difference!!

I want to swim more, maybe even dive (on the high ones so you can do flips). I'd like to learn some gymnastic moves, but I think its too late for me.Lol.
