k so what i do for my locker is i put up colorful wrapping paper and then used cool magnets to hold up my pictures. then i put a cool bin thing to holod xtra pencils and pens and index cards. it is so colorful and everyone is so jelouse.

Okay so I know this had nothing to do with the locker thing but I really want contacts but 1. I'm afraid to touch my eye to put it in and take it out 2. I don't know if they'll look good for sure 3. Hey girl, when it comes to school uniform fashion, try demure accessories and cute hair-dos (mix it up with fun accessories). Hey babe! Headbands are great for uniforms because they change it up a bit without going too far! Def try those! Any belted shirts would look great and give you some curve!

i love all of these!!! except the wallpaper cause its pretty hard to get off at the end of the year.. and even though im going in a new building this year (our old one was ancient LOL) we have even smaller lockers. and locker buddies!! Frown and 4 some reason last yr (well this is kinda my fault) people wrote all over my stuff like my locker mirror and white board and it cant even come off!! some people wrote on my ACTUAL locker too hahaha XD

Also try adding wrapping paper to your locker on the inside if your school allows you. magnet tape is a great thing to buy as you can add it to backs of pictures and wrapping paper. hope the year rocks!!

I hate the locker shelves that you can buy at meier and stuff.they're so cheap, it drives me insane. For the last three years every single shelve I've bought has colapsed!!!
I think decking out locker too much is pointless though. I mean, you have to take it down at the end of the year.
And wallpaper rips really easily too.
I'm not trying to be negative, but seriously.haha.

To decorate your locker it has to be you!
Last year I found this giant locker magnet at CVS!
I cut it out to fit the back side of my Locke and it is so cool!
I love to cover my locker in magnets not stickers cuz they take 4eva to get off!
A way to day happy birthday to a friend is to decorate the frog of there locker with wrapping paper and every1 in school know it is there bday!

We only have P.E. lockers. Its not fair. We have TONS of lockers in our school and a new school was built because our school was starting to get over crowded. Theyre not letting us have lockers for "hall safety." I wish I did have one. Especially since my classes are like really close to each other.

I always tape on some really cool looking wrapping paper on the door of my locker (we have the tall ones) and then hang mirrors and pencil holders and dry erase boards and stuff. Wrapping paper makes a boring locker look awesome INSTANTLY!

Girlys, for all u fashionistas out there that luv checkin there hair, make up, or just impressing ur friends, at staples for less than $10 there is a mirror that is a white board on the outside, and it opens up to 3 lite up mirrors! and I <3 fall so I got a clip on scent bug from bath and bodyy works so my locker wil smell warm, cozy, and fab. but check with a teach. to make sure it is alright. my mom is principal, and she said it was fine. it comes in a ton of scents. see ya girlys!

How come you can't decorate a bottom locker? This is the second year I've had a locker, and I've had a bottom locker both years. Of course, there's only about 65 people in my grade, so nobody has the locker above me. There's like 50 empty 6th grade lockers at my school!

Our lockers come with hooks. We have to buy a shelf and we keep books, backpack, and P.E. shoes in it. This year I bought this set that had a big metal shelf, a magnetic mirror and organizer for the door, and four magnets. Everything is pink with owls on it- it's really cute.

Now that I'm done with explaining that question I'll comment on the actual article! haha.

Those are all really great suggestions!
What I do is I have a couple magnetic wire baskets that you put on the door of the locker && one of them has a mirror on it, just like GLs suggestion!
And I also like to take index cards and colored pens and write my favorite quotes or bible verses with designs around them and it looks really cute along with my pictures of friends. Plus whenever I'm feeling "down" I can just look up at those quotes and I'm re-asured that everything's going to be ok! It's like a decoration pick-me-up!
And that suggestion to keep extra stuff you might need in a box or something in your locker is great! I'm going to do that! I've lost count on how many time's I've forgotten my lunch money!

Hey I was wondering if anyone could help me with something? My mom told me today that she's not getting enough work and if it keeps up this bad we may not have enough money to keep the house. But a friend of hers has a position for her in Virginia (I live in MA)which would mean alot more work and alot more money, which would mean we could keep the house. My mom gave me the option of moving to virginia with her. I think it would be a great oprotunity for me because I've really been wanting a fresh start. Totally reinvent myself. But at the same time I think I'd really miss my 2 BFFs. I'm going into my sophmore year so it would be stressful academically too. My parents are getting seperated though and my dads staying here for HIS job, so I could always come back on vacations and stuff and see my friends then, but still I'd miss them! What do you think? should I move or not?

 

Hey girl, this is really a personal descision. But just because you move doesn't mean you have to loose contact with your BFFs. You can always text, call, email and write them. Don't forget about Facebook and Myspace too. With all that you can still check up on how their lives are going and what they're doing. And you'll always get to visit! One thing to consider when making your descision, is think about how your choice will affect the rest of your life. If you stay, how will you and your mom be affected? Will it be harder for you guys than it would've been if you moved?

Hey girly, well start with your head and work your way down to your feet. Wash your hair with some conditioning shampoo, then clean your face (use an exfoliating mask if you have one), wash your bod in either a soapy bath or hot shower, then give yourself a mani and pedi. Sorry chica, didn't see your question before, thanx for being patient. Try eliminating what you keep in your locker. Only keep the books you need for school in your locker. Keep them stacked to one side. And for the other things you keep in your locker make sure they aren't too big. Arrange everything by size and shape. Pt the big things towards the back of your locker and the small things in front. Hope this helps!

Hey girl, try cutting and pasting some of your fave magazine pics in your locker. I tried this and my locker was so unique and original. Put u as many ics as you want from all different magazines. You could even print some images from the web!

Last year all the stuff i got for my locker stunk.The magnet werent very strong so I had to make sure I shut my locker slowly and lightly because if I slammed it all the magnets would fly off my door and go through my locker.Then the next time i opened my locker a bunch of magnets would fall on the floor and I was always late to my next class becaus eI had to stop and pick them up

Our lockers just got replaced, which is good because now they have built in shelves and locks with grips ^_^ But the bad part is the new locks are really hard to open since they haven't been used before, and there is this bump in the inside of the door so you can't really decorate it Frown

Hey chica, when it comes to shoes, I'm a fan of flats. So try getting some ballet flats, they come in navy and white and all other colors. For hair, try flat ironing it or doing a side braid or ponytail. For makeup, one word: ligloss. It makes you lips plumper and glossy. Hope this helps!

Hey everyone! Okay so all of this stuff is OKAY but, there are some cuter more funtional things out there. Example: a expandable locker shelf. Now, I think everyone should make there locker a little peice of their personal heaven. Example: Maybe your a big POP (Popular). Take POP, to a new level, but tottally decking your locker out like bubble gum. Soft pink book shelf, mirror, and wire basket. To make it super adorable, buy some gum that comes in a bright pink paper. Unwrap the gum from the package, and place it in a zip lock for safe keeping. Taking the package paper, glue a magnet to the back of it. Now you have super cute, yet funtical place to hold up papers and such. Either way, people comment me giving me a description on how you want your locker to be. Or your personality, fave colors, and usual crowd. I will suggest to you one of my locker ideas, out of my ESBS (Exclusivly Secert Book of Secerts) that best fits you. Love, Classic.

MOD i've been dancing (jazz) for almost 10 years but now the date has been changed to saturday. i love to dance and at the end of every year theres a recital and i love to perform. the only thing is i'm not sure if i want to give up my staurday. my mom says that if i don't dance i can try somthing different like horseback riding or somthing which i would love but i still love to dance. for school what makeup should i wear for school. i have light skin blonde hair and blue eyes. i usaully wear concealer(for dark circles) tinted moiusturizer, translucent powder, mascara, and brown eyeliner on lower lashes because my hair is blonde and you cant even see them lol. sometimes i use a brow pencil because they are so light. overall it is very natural, but do you think it is too much? thnx mod

MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD Okay, i've gotta sitch. There's this girl, lets call her Miranda, that I use to be friends with about two years ago. Example: friends in 6th, now going into 8th. Over the rising 7th grade summer we drifted, and she started hanging out with all these new people that I really didn't like. They were pretty mean and annoying. I tried to deal with it, and let her be friends with them but eventually it got out of hands and I got really stressed. I decided there was way too much drama for it to be healthy so I decided it was better we weren't friends. I mean we were really close, but it wasn't worth it. Now, I just learned that we are gonna have the longest class of the day together. And I really don't want there to be drama. See we just have sorta avoided each other, and didn't talk much to each other unless we had too. How can I explain to her that i'm sorry I ignored her, and I would like for us to be friends just not close friends? Plus, that I would really like it to be sorta school restricted? I mean, I don't think I can handle any more then that, and I don't want to have to test my evil streak (white streak in my hair, long story). I even got a "sweet" charm to try to be nicer to people. Help! And thanks!

another idea that adds personality is take some gift wrap and put it as a background of the inside of the door. then get magnetic mirrors or holders and stick it on top. The gift wrap is thin enough for magnets to still cling to the locker. A cork board helps too (if the cork board is too beat up just spray paint it!) Anyway thats what ppl at my school do.

Do you know wat I can do to get a top locker? I've tried asking the school at the begining of the year for a top one, but it never works. I guess it's not a big deal, but I've never had one, and it annoys the heck out of me, ewhen some people are on their tippy toes to open their lockers. If you read the twilight series and got the book breaking dawn when it came out, you might have gotten some stickers. I stuck mine to magnet stuff I bought and made them into magnets. i also printed out little sayings and did the same thing. simple but really fun. All my friends were really jealous!

Wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable on stage. You have to be able to focus on your performance, after all, not just your outfit. For great, well-known rock songs that are pretty easy to learn, I think the best place to look is The Ramones. They wrote amazing, short, high-energy songs like "sheena is a punk rocker" and "I wanna be your boyfriend" and of course "blietzkreig bop" which is a great show opener.

The honors classes lockers are half the size of a regular locker. It's not fair. I mean, our classes are harder so we get more books. Plus, I've got scars on my fingers from pushing through the crowds of people trying to get into their lockers. I decorated my locker this year and people liked it. They said it was like a home. Hey I hope you are having an absolute amazing day!! My question is this:

I used to be BFFs with this girl. She was bold, nice, and funny and I friend-loved her to pieces. She was a huge tomboy--shopped in the boys section for shirts sometimes, wore ripped jeans and old sneakers--and everyone knew it. But at the beginning of last year, we noticed subtle changes in her. She got girly, wearing pink lip-gloss and painting her nails, wearing girly clothes, got a sparkly cell phone case, and most importantly-- hanging out with the "popular" girls. At first she would lie to try and cover up for it, but pretty soon she just completely ignored us and sat with them. She broke promises of sitting with us at lunch, and eventually didn't even bother to promise to sit with us. And then she walked by us one day to sit with them, and then that was sort of drawing the line to cut our friendship. I know it's okay to change and get new friends, but blowing of the friends who lied to themselves to keep faith in you, who made an effort to give you another chance? I don't think that's allowed in the rulebook of friendship. I really want to still be friends with her, but is it too late? I am not going to go "talk to her" about it or anything, but do you have any other advice? PLEASE help me, Mod!!

MOD i've been dancing (jazz) for almost 10 years but they've changed the day that the lessons r on to saturday. i'm not sure if i want to give up part of my weekend to dance and my mom says that i could try horseback riding or somthing if i don't dance.I love to dance and we have a recital at the end of every year and i love to perform. i would miss it but i would like to try somthing new. Hey girl, that really depends on the locker you are given. If it's a full length locker, go for the ones with the legs. If it's small, you don't want to take up space with legs. <3 Jeannie

It's my first year at public school and we have HUGE massive lockers....now I just have to figure how to get it to open.....hmmmm....I kinda know how but not very good.

I don't have to take gym, art, or technology applications (keyboarding...uggh) because I am taking 2 music electives (band-percussion and choir which are first and second period).

at our school, our lockers are NOT wide enough. we have to stack books on top of books. with the books standing up! at least we don't have to share lockers. but if our rival school moves in we will have to. that would suck. mabey i'll get a mirror but thats about it.

most ideas are great i really like the DIY pic frames! i will totally do that! thanks Smile but i agree with some others about the wire baskets there is so way that would work unless you had the shorter lockers the taller ones would need something taller like locker shelves! also my locker idea is to put fur on the inside of my locker not on the door but on the inside! it will look awesome all u need is some double sided tape! u can get it at a JOANN FABRICS! its simple and fabulous! try it and then for the locker door you can put wrapping paper up its cheap and awesomely cute!

Yeah right. Are you crazy? There is no way metal baskets and hooks to hang things from actually fit in your locker!!! And my locker isn't gray! It's orange and yellow! Wow. If I did have a bigger locker, maybe these things would be nice, but not everyone can decorate since not everyone has huge lockers like that. I'm sorry, but that's the way I see it. My locker is about 5 inches long.

lol it seems like everyone has ugly yellow lockers. ours are red on the outside and sky blue on the inside on most lockers. some are yellow on the inside but they're not bad. We get to choose our lockers. so mine is next to my best friends! lol i just graduated from junior high and im gonna be a freshman and we had a party at the end of the year last year and i have a TON of funny pics to put in my locker. i think everyone should have a party at the end of the year!

Our lockers are either blue, red in some places, or yellow. I had yellow last year and it was ugly Frown But we have big lockers, not bottom and top Laughing Some are bigger than others (new ones = bigger)-- I had a smaller one last year. But it was fine. Except for the giant chunk of wall next to my locker. I couldn't open it all the way. But I got one of my bffs next to my locker.

I use magnets-- either clear flat-backed marbles with magazine pix and stuff, magnet tape on different stuff or real magnets. I hang up pictures and stuff.

We get hooks in our lockers, so no need to buy one Laughing

i really need help deciding what to do, during the second week of school this year there is like a camp that all the 7th graders go to. (my mom thinks i should go because we're going to move soon and she thinks it would be a good way to see my friends 1st)im not sure if i want to go. i've been to camp before and had fun but got very homesick. if i dont go my fav band is having a concert that week and i could beg my mom to take me but school would be really boring that week without all my friends (they'd be at camp). if you think i should go please give me tips to be less homesick. i like the locker shelf thing, but $20?????!!!!!!! i dont wanna spend that much!!!! i got a locker shelf at shopko for $4... more in my price range!!! Smile last night at orientation for middle school (its my first year there.... eek!!!! :O ) and my locker shelf would NOT go in!!!! our lockers HAVE to be the tiniest lockers EVER. my mom finally got it to go in, but thankfully i have the easiest locker combo (24-44-42!!! no joke!!!! AND there aren't any lockers behind me.....! just a very very big window and an escape door, for those days when i JUST CAN'T TAKE IT!!!! haha! my schedule is pretty good, too..... i have lunch right after PE. but, they're in the same room (lunch and phys, ed) but whatever....... and i have lunch with most of my friends, except poor morgan Frown inside our locker doors, its like, indented, then it goes out in the middle, the in again....? my friend ashley and i are gonna see the movie post grad and then go to the mall to do one of those fun strip things....!!!!! i start middle school on tuesday.... eeekk!!!!

I love them all! I already have a mirror for my locker, now I'm gonna get a shelf for it. My locker already has a hook in it ( I think... because it did last year) BTW, comment on my profile!!!

Today i'm going to get my haircut and I was wondering what cut I should do? I have medium brown hair that's straight. I have brown eyes, I'm petite (5 foot) and either an oval or heart shaped face. Do you have any ideas or celebs that would look good? Also, I'm going into 8th grade so I want to look mature. My hair is about 3 inches past my shoulders with layers. Thanks!!
