Undereye advice!

I'm only fourteen but I have major bags under my eyes. They make me look super tired, even though I get enough sleep. I'm pretty sure they're hereditary because my dad has them too and I used to rub my eyes a lot so that might have contributed. Is there anything I can do to make them go away or a good makeup trick to hide them?

Hey babe, dark circles under the eyes can be super annoying, and trust me, plenty of girls share your problem! You're right-—they can be hereditary, so unfortunately there's not too much you can do to stop them. Unlike your dad though, you can totally get away with covering them up with some makeup!

First and foremost, make sure you're getting enough sleep-at least eight hours a night. Sleep deprivation can def give ya bags. Since malnutrition is another cause of undereye circles, make sure you're drinking plenty of water and eating a healthy diet full of fruits and veggies.

How else to banish those pesky bags? Many cosmetic brands sell eye cream that you use once a day to keep the skin around your eyes nice and firm. You can also dab some concealer on dark circles to keep them hidden and balance your eyes out with  a light coat of mascara. Don't over-do it on the concealer though, it can tend to look cakey and actually cause the bags to look even worse. A few dabs will do wonders.
