Hey girl! Try to keep in mind what is important in life, and it's not always boys! If you feel bad about going out with the one and don't know what to do, then don't go out with either. This kinda happened 2 me. My ex BF will never talk 2 me, but instead, he tells my friends lies about me like "she never talks to me when I try to talk to her, instead, she just walks away." He hasn't even talked to me once since HE broke up with ME! You just have 2 learn to accept it and not get angry over it. I did and it ruined a big part of my life.

It's not good when people swear, but I can see how that would be embarrassing to you. Talk to her about it in private,and let her know that it makes you a little embarrassed to call out random strangers in the mall.

Sometimes guys are just rude and flat out mean to girls because they like them. If you like him so much why don't you just tell him. If you are too nervous or worried about letting him know then try to shoot him little signs like smiles or winks or flirt with him more. You could also confide in one of his good guy friends to see what the deal is and find out who he likes.

That's complicated. If the relationship ended on awkward terms, starting the friendship and communication back up again can be really difficult! Start slow by initiating conversation about something fun (like a movie or his favorite sports team), and if he still doesn't respond he's not worth your time. Other guys would love to chat with you, and if he doesn't then he's missing out BIG time!

a really cute guy i've known for a few years asked me out, but it was out of the blue, or i thought it was. i thought about it over the weekend and told him yes the following monday. i didnt realize how mush i actually liked him( just talking about him made me nervous and turn as red as a tomatoe!!) truthfully i had no way to contact him over the weekend to tell him when i made up my mind but after i told him yes, i found out he was dating his ex again! she's a very slutty girl years older than us. he told me he didnt date her but everyone else did and that he told them they dated! others say it was an accident because i didnt answer him till later. so i basically dumped him that night. he hurt me and made me so so mad but i forgave him so we could move on. i liked him alot and now im starting to want to give him a secound chance....and i dont know why!!! he didnt respect my feelings enough to tell his ex he was waiting for someone to answer or to tell me he had a girlfriend already. and now he looks all sad and trys to ignore me!!!he told someone that i was the 1st girl to dump him, but she told him that he was a lair and did it to himself(which i agree). i told her he was only sad because i dunped him before he could me for the slutty girl, and part of me belives that. i'd be friends again, but i just know i'd never try to date him again. any advice?!!!

Hey Mod!
I told this guy i was crushing on all last year that i liked him on the very last day of school right after the bell. He was on a mad dash to his last final while i was free to go out for the summer as i told him. So he smiled at me and gave me "the nodd". I didnt see him over the summer because he is more of a shy guy who does stuff with his close friends and family. So the first day of school he tried talking to me or at least hung around me a lot, but i was needed by my friends so I had to leave. Later i talked to him in spanish but the conversation started with "hola" and ended in "adios" as the teacher watched. Then ever since he has just been looking at me a lot not short engouh to not notice, but not long enough to smile at him. Then i get those occasional moments where our eyes meet or we have eye contact. I dont know what to do now... should I wait for him and give him a chance (its the second day of school) or should I totally just move on? Or how long should I wait? Also should I talk to him? And how am I suppose to know if he feels the same way if he is so shy?

If you still like him and want to give it a shot then you should tell him. He was probably too shy to call you over the summer and is hoping now that you are still into him. You don't shoot long looks at someone that you're not interested in. I think your best option is to be straight up with him and talk to him about how you feel and hopefully he will do the same. This time do it at a time where you can actually have a conversation.

He probably doesn't know how to act with you. He might be worried that you're still upset, and if that's the case being friendly (but not too friendly, you don't want him to think that you're trying to get him back) and polite should let him know that you've moved on. Even if you are over him it's normal for you to still care about him and worry about what he thinks about you, since you guys were close before.

~MOD~ How can i convince my parents to get me a cell? I know, i probably sound really greedy right now. But i REALLY need one. I'm going into the 9th and when my friends and i go out for lunch, sometimes we part ways then we can't find eachtother cuz i don't have a cell.Sometimes i want to walk home and i feel bad cuz i have to use my friends cell . My parents think if i get a cell, i'm gonna go out more and make the phone bill go up. Hey girl! The best way to convince your 'rents is to just tell them what you told me. Ask them to give you a trial period. If you don't exceed the minutes, prove to them you can handle the responsibilty of a cell. If you go over, give it back and wait until they think you're ready. If that doesn't work, show them you're responsible by doing your school work on time or doing chores without being asked. Hey girl, everyone changes as they get older, that's a good thing, not a bad thing. Just like you've changed over summer break, I'm sure a lot of your friends and other classmates have too. But the good thing about having friends that are diff than you are the perspectives and unique things that they bring to your life. I say def keep in touch with your old friends, but make new ones too! Look for people who have similar interests like you in diff clubs and extracurrics and also, your classes.

I like one of my guy friends. He's really funny and has the most adorable floppy blond hair and beautiful blue eyes. The problem is he just broke up with one of my best friends. She was really devastated and upset and I had to help guide her through the breakup, which made me like her ex even more. The only person I've told is my best friend and she's going to talk to him for me, but I don't think he would go out with me. Any advice?

Happy spring! What are you most looking forward to?

Spring clothes...sundresses, flip-flops, floral prints and sunglasses. Bring 'em on!
Spring break...finally, time off from school AND that much closer to the end of the year.
