If BF stands for boyfriend then i suggest you confront then about it. There should never be any sketchy activity between your best friend and your boyfriend. i am so confused. i have been friends with this guy for a couple years, and last year i started to think he liked me. we talked a lot and he was always really nice to me and cheered me on when i did class presentations or something. so eventually i started to like him but i didnt think i was ready for a boyfriend or anything and some people think hes weird. so summer came, and by the end of summer i kinda stopped thinking about it but i was afraid things would be awkward when we came back to school because i think we both realized that we liked each other a little bit. its worse than i thought it would be now. we talked like twice the first week, and now when i see him its so awkward because we dont even say hi or anything. and when i had a presentation today he didnt say anything like he always does, and i dont know why but it made me kinda sad

its driving me crazy, i want us to be friends again

The best advice I can give you is not to focus on the superficial stuff like who is cuter or more popular or anything like that. Focus on how you feel around each of the guys. It might take awhile to figure it out, but if you take your time you'll be sure to make the right decision.

Ok, so this guy that I got really really close to last summer (but we decided to stay "just friends" cuz he was going off to college even though we both liked each other) just called me the other day and told me that he had found someone else. I, of course was heartbroken, but then he said something that really confuses me. He said that his feelings for me hadn't changed, just his feelings for this other girl had grown in a way he didn't think was possible. How is this possible? And, how should I act around him when he comes back home for Christmas? I want to respect his new relationship (even though they're not going out yet).

MOD-i kind of need help! see, there's this guy that i have a major crush on (he's in my grade and in all of my classes), but since i'm really bad at telling if guys like me, i don't know if he does or not! here's some of the stuff that he does:
- when i ask for the time, he never tells me, and makes a game out of it, making me guess the time
- he switches my binder around with other people's, and when i pretend to get mad, he just gets this "what did i do?" look
- i was walking to gym with this other guy from our class, and when my crush saw us, he came up beside me and started whistling in my ear, and when i laughed and told him to stop, he went into this joking rant about how i'm so mean to him
- in class, i asked this one guy to pass me my pencil, because it had fallen under his desk, and my crush was all like "don't give it to her! she's so mean!" then, when i was like "what?" he smiled at me, and was like "you know you're so mean, jess!" i'm not sure, but my bff said that it looked like he winked at me
so what do you think? i'm really not sure! plus, what should i do? i'm kind of shy about flirting, so i don't want to be too upfront about it!

It sounds like he's flirting with you. He wouldn't tease you, joke around with you, smile at you, and pay attention to you if he didn't like you. I feel like my BFG doesnt care about me and our friendship is starting to end. We never hang out together anymore, he never makes an effort to talk to me and he never calls me anymore. This year we dont have any classes together and he has many after school activities that take up alot of his time, so I think that is 1 reasons he isnt really taking to me. Hey! the same thing is happening to me with my bgf Ben. All you can do is let him know how you feel. You have to let him know that your friendship means a lot you and you don't want it to fade away. MOD:!:!:!:!::!:!: I had an ex and i dumped him because he wasnt hugging me. I thought it was because he didnt like me so thats why i decided to end the relationship. I thought i made the right dession untill my friend talked to me about him last night.
She said that he talked to her the other day and he said that he still really liked me and he wished that i would ask him out because he doesnt want ask me out and make it sound like im a stalker or something. So then my friend added that the reason why he wouldnt hug me was because he didnt want to rush things and loose me.
I feel really bad about the whole thing and i dont know what to do. In the hall he ignores me and i also asked my friend on whhy he ignored me. She said that he said the reason why he wont talk to me in the halls is because he doesnt want rumors going around that im gonna ask him out or something.
Based on what my friend told me, he really likes me and he's really sweet towards me... i just... i dont know what to do. I kinda like him, but im crushing on this other guy a grade older than me. What should I do?? I hate having the feeling that i caused all of this and that he's crushed. Please help! and sorry its so long...

Ok. I really like this boy. He's short, but, hey, im shorter. alot of girls like him buyt theyre all saying "if he were taller.....", so I have a really good chance. The thing is I', in high school and with my crazy schedule, we only have one class together (with assigned seats) and lunch, but we both sit in our individual groups. he barely notices me and next week i made a promise to myself that i wouls start a conversation with him and be bold on that day. I know someone who started dating this guy to get close to one of his friends and then she left her bf to hook up with this other guy. We all thought of how mean it was to do that to someone.

ok girls, mods, anyone! so theres this new kid @ my school and hes the new principals son. hes in the other class but in the same grade. a bunch of girls r always like "oh my god hes so cute" and ALL the girls agree but theres this group of girls who think hes cute but theyre not interested, and theres this group that alwasy scream when they hear his name and they all think they hav a chance of him getting a crush on him. in my opinion, theyre just suffocating him and should leave him alone. hes really shy too, so its not helping 2 get all flirty wwhenever they see him. he doesnt even know their names. i on the otherhand, think he is SOOOOO CUTE just everything he does is CUTE and hes really great looking but im not screaming over him every second and i keep these thought sto myself. on the day he shadowed (he actually comes now, he just shadowed a day) we were in this program thing that they hold after school until youre picked up together and we ended up being a kickbll team, just the two of us. hes a really nice boy but once again i must express how shy he is so we didnt talk about much but i want 2 at least b his friend so i started some conversation and complimented his kickball skills (he got SO amny homeruns!) and eventually he started 2 talk in return. now when i see him i might say hi or wave but not in the crzed and flirty way everyone else does and he smiles back. in fact, ive even seen him drop me an adorably shy smile wwhen i didntwave or anything. heres where i need ur help: how do i get those girls 2 giv him some space? its clearly bothering him that the other girls r trying 2 b around him 24/7 even tho he might not know they like him
