I just found out that my "best friend" of eleven years told one of her other friends in the locker room that she hates me and doesn’t want to be my friend anymore. The person who told me this is really honest and I think I believe her. This is not surprising from my "best friend," because she’s done it to other girls, but I just never though she would do it to me! What do I do?

BFF Fix-it: It def hurts when you realize you care more about a friendship than your friend does. But since you didn’t hear it straight from the source (that girl may be honest, but double check!), there’s no need to freak out just yet. Try talking to others who were in the locker room or try bringing it up and testing your friend’s reactions.

OK, so i hav a bff and she has been my bf for a ong time. a new girl joined our skool like 5 yrs ago. we wer friends with her. she dosent a a GOOD rank but she is not dull student.my bff and me r good rankers. my bff has been acting strangely wit me lately.. wen ever the new girl doesnt come to skool, she is freindly with me. but wen she comes to skool she is not so friendly! she sometimes talks to me and sometimes ignores me! i get SO MAD!!!!!! i mean ive been her friend and bbf for a really long time! i feel she souldnt be doing that.. ive tried to talk t her but she says that she dosnt try to ignore but she just enjoyes eating and reading with her[every day!!!] ive made a new friend but i still miss her.. i even have a bgf but i cant talk abt everything wit him [you know, peroids and stuff] PLZ HELP!!!!!!!! Thanks for your post. This definitely seems to be an annoying situation. A lot of times, friends go through phases. Sometimes they do whatever they think is cool, or hang out with whoever they think is popular, regardless of how this will cause them to act towards their true friends. Continue to be yourself around your BFF, eventually she will come around, I promise! Now may be a good time to branch out. Reach out to other girls in your class...have a study sesh or get a group together to see New Moon this weekend. You can never have too many friends!!

one of my friends thinks i cant do anything adn tht im weak and lazy and stuff cause there was middle school nite @ the football game, and she wanted me to go with her. i no my mom didnt want me to go, and i didnt because once i got into a crash once and my mom was concerned and worried, and i didnt want her to worry. soo now my ffriend thinks im a big baby and i cant do anything without anyhelp and it has me down. wut should i do?

MOD****My best friend well not anymore I guess is being so fake and such a wannabe I know its mean but still I do nothing to her and she is saying that I am such a jerk and that she wants to switch schools she is being really mean to me and even dated my ex to get back at me. When I like a guy she gets mad at me and doesn't talk to me for a week cause she likes him but its hard cause she likes every guy! Then two weeks later she is doing the same thing to another girl and everyone is sick of her.I have given her alot of chances but she still does the same thing. I even talked to her about it. Should I forget her or give her another chance?

Hey chicky, since you guys have talked about it and nothing has changed, maybe it's a good thing that you guys aren't friends. People come into our lives for a reason. So she could have been in your life to show you what a true friendship is supposed to be like, and maybe she inspired you to be a better friend.

MOD MOD MOD im at a new school this year and my 2 bffs r in the same class and im not. i sometimes hang out with them at lunch, but its really hard to stay friends. the first week of school they were already mad at me for hanging out with some girls they hate. they hate everyone and a LOT of people say they hate me. this week my friends (the ones my bffs hate) told me that they all hate these two girls and frankly im not enjoying thier company so much anymore. i don't know if i should still be thier friends or tell them that they have to deal with my new friends! HELP MMMEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a friend who is sheltered by her parents a lot. So much, even my mom and dad start to say that she is sheltered too much. She can never come to my house and once I asked her to a sleepover and she said no. and i said do you wanna hang out at my place? She said I don't think so and she hung up! and she never called me back or explained ANYTHING!! She talks in a baby voice a lot and my other friends ask if im still friends with her and when I say yes, they say that stinks! And latley i've been trying to branch out and whenever I try to talk to somone, she starts talking to me about and entirely different subject.But worst of all, she calls me her BFF and I do't feel like a BFF to her... AT ALL! A lot of times I really don't wanna be friends with her anymore. Should I dump her or stay friends? P.S Once we played this game where we were characters I wwas Cornut and SHe was Nutcorn. When I told her I didn't wanna be Cornut anymore,she acted all sad and the next day she said she went home and cried!

These two girls in my grade were my friends, until they started rumors 24/7. My bff was talking to a guy, who is like her brother,and they started a rumor that they were dating. They started a rumor about me liking my bgf who is like my brother, and that i am bisexual. They kept it up like this from last year til this year, and they went to far. They tried to tell me they didnt do any of this when they did in in front of me, and I told my mom. She told me that they arent trying to be my friend, so I should act like they arent there and I agree. They keep spreading rumors and I am tired of this. I wont forgive them ever, because they went way too far. Do you agree????

MODMOD MOD MOD!!! ok so my "friend" (t) and my best friend (k) both wanted me to go over their house on friday. I decided to go with whoever askd me first which i thought was (k). but it was (t) but she askd me like 3 weeks b4 friday so i forgot. So since i thought it was (k) i went to her house and told(t) i was at my dads house so i wouldnt hurt her feelings. she found out i wasnt amd semt me nasty txts and she said she never wants to see me again or be friends ever agian. and this alhapend ovr the weekend and i dont want to face in school and espespialy during lunch!! wat do i do??

Hey girl! The best thing to do is tell her the truth. Explain that you decided you were going to go with whoever asked first. Since she asked so far in advance, you completely forgot, and you're sorry for lying. Tell her that it was nothing personal, and you still want to hang out with her. i think you should talk to her. tell her that you heard some stuff and you didnt want to believe it, but brace yourself if it is true. if it is, she really hasnt been a true bff. my 'bff' did the same thing but in a message and sent it to me. let her go if it is true. if it was just a rumor then let that go too.
