NEW MUSIC: Rachel Millman

 
Rachel Millman is ready to try again. The singer recently graduated from college with a degree from Penn State when aspirations of being a pop star started floating back into this New Jersey native’s mind.
 
As a high-school teenager, Rachel was on track toward becoming a professional singer. She sang the national anthem at professional sporting games, tried out for American Idol (but the producers didn’t even listen to her audition) and recorded demos in L.A. with producer Brian Reeves. Though she continued to train her voice for four years, she never performed on stage. But once she graduated, she realized how much she missed it.
 
 
Rachel’s decision to once again follow her dreams has her releasing the EP If I Believe. Ballads are the main note of the album, with the single “Throwin’ Rocks At The Moon” showing off Rachel’s powerful vocal range. We especially love “Waiting For Someday,” with an acoustic guitar complimenting the delicate tone of Rachel’s voice. Fans of early Mandy Moore ballads will enjoy the vibe of the record.

i really like this guy. Lets call him E. Ive liked E since the beginning of 8th grade, and now im going into 9th grade. We talk, sat together in some classes and ive really grown to like him over the summer. But one of my friends likes him too. We arent that close though. Shes crazy over him and acts like a psychopath around him. Any girl that flirts or talks to him, she literally chews them out. And alot of girls have told me that they hate her for it. And he keeps rejecting her. She told me that she touches him in his "places" and she cuddles with him, and she does it in front of me. and he has a girlfriend! How do i tell my friend that shes going a bit overboard and that i really like him? What should i tell her? I dont want to lose a friend over a guy, but she'll do anything to get him. What do i do? thanks 4 ur help




Hey girl, if E is taken, I'd respect his boundaries. For the time being, I'd let E go. If you're meant to be, you will. As for your friend? Gently pull her back and tell her what she's doing isn't cool. Tell her if she wants to win E, she needs to stop acting the way she is -- in a way, reverse psychology. Tell your friend she's losing friends because of this behavior, and she needs to stop. And if she doesn't? Wait for E to call her out on it. In the end, it's sisters before misters. Be the best friend you can be and see this crush out. Hopefully it'll have a happy ending for all of you!
