I had just gotten my period, so I told my mom about it and she said we would need to go buy pads. Unfortunately, she had to leave so she made my dad do it! I had to go along and my dad not knowing what to do said, "Well I don't know what to get…lets just ask somebody!" So he did! I wanted to hide under a rock when he asked a random lady at the store. And then the lady started asking me all these questions about my period!

i'm 13 in about a week and i still dont have my period! I'm happy and sad about it tho. I'm happy bcuz everyone says it is a pain and i'm short so i want to grow alot! but i'm sad cuz i'm like the only one who doesnt have it in my grade

I just got my period today in school and it was really embarrasing to tell the nurse. She was reslly understanding though. plus, my parents are in san fransico for the week and they left an hour b4 i got it!!! so they called my grandma to come pick me up but i was really embarrased!!!!!!

Hey! she was probably refering to "wet dreams". Boys have these when they go through puberty, and usually wake up with a damp bed. They can't control it, it's just a part of growing up for them. The dreams are related to something sexual or arousing, and that's why they have these "wet dreams". Good luck on your work sheet.

Hey chica, mhmm not too sure what that is. It could just be discharge, but to just be on the safe side, you should tell your rents or another trusted adult, so they can get you to the doc and see whats up. Your period could be on its way, so just be prepared with handy pads.

Hey girlie! It's totally normal for your period to be a little wacky for the first year or so that you have it! No biggie; it will get regulated and normal soon!

at least your mom didnt make your dad tell you about your period. my dad was all like youll get it every month and you have to wear a pad and when you get older a tampon. and when i asked my mom how to use a tampon she was like ask your dad. i said but he doesnt even have to use one.

I know my dad has had to buy my mom her feminine stuff before like her tampons and I heard him complaining about it. I think he said something to her, like do I have to, I was laughing when I heard him say that. But I wouldnt be laughing if I had to ask him to buy them for me, so far that hasnt happened.

my parnets aren't together so my mom told my dad and i was in my room and my dad was helping me fix my bed and he like "so your mom told me you got your period" i nearly died i was like god let this end!!!!Then my mom said the next day oh ya i told your dad that you got your period in my head i was like right thanks for the head up!!!!!
