Studio Set-up
First, stock up on supplies. Grab some cheap canvases from a local art store. Pick up some colorful paints and a few different size brushes. Lay out an old sheet (just in case-for paint slips!) and set up all the crafty tools on it!
Ingenious Inspirations
Grab some of your fave fashion mags –including the latest GL! Print out some super famous paintings – Mona Lisa and Starry Night for sure! Lay them out for all your girlies to look at as they create their masterpieces. Grab ideas from the clothes and landscapes to paint anything you feel!
Make like Michelangelo
When your girlies arrive prep 'em to paint away. Get as creative as you can with paper, scissors, markers, glitter, and glue, too. When you’re all finished, set them up around the room and leave them to dry, you’ll be back to admire them!
Sophisticated Snacks
Drink some bubbly Sprite or soda while you wait for your creations to be complete. Set out cheese and crackers to munch on. Finger sandwiches, fruit trays, and little cookies would all be super divine to have during your little break as you gossip away with your BFFs.
Glamorous Gallery
Celebrate your visionary works with a grand opening to your homemade gallery. When the pics are dry, talk a stroll around the room and get a good look at the artwork. Ask each other questions about how they came up with their crafty compositions and have fun complementing your oh-so-creative besties!
A Night to Remember
Best of all, after the abstract evening is over, your girlies can go home with an original work of art. Every time they look at their creative works they’ll be sure to think of your PJ party and all the crafty fun that took place!
