Sleepovers are a fun way to get together with your friends, eat and catch up on the latest gossip, fashion, and celebrity news.

While topics and food change from sleepover to sleepover, you ALWAYS need great tunes.

Here are some of our old and new faves!

Oh, and don't forget to tell us what YOURS are!

1. "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper. The title speaks for itself. Sure, it's an '80s jam, but this song has ALWAYS been a hit for sleepovers because it's the ultimate all-girls party pump-up.

2. "Circus" by Britney Spears. She’s been playing at sleepovers since '98 when her first hit “Baby One More Time” came out; now she’s back with bigger, better songs that are sure to be slammin' for many sleepovers to come.

3."The Climb" by Miley Cyrus. In between all the giggles and dancing at overnighters, there's always time for an inspirational, confidence-booster by your girl Miley.

4. "You Belong With Me" by Taylor Swift. It wouldn't be a slumber party without one hardcore Taylor tune. After your girlies are done giggling about their crushes, this is a fun song to pump up.

5. "Burnin' Up" by the Jonas Brothers. Swoon over pics of the three hottest brother EVER while you blast this perfect pick-me-up.

6. "One Time" by Justin Beiber. If you don’t know who the cutest addition to the music scene is, check out this song by Justin Beiber. He’s sure to melt your heart with his voice AND his great lyrics.

7. "I Gotta Feeling" by The Black Eyed Peas. Jumpstart your slumber party with this upbeat, catchy jam about how “tonight’s gonna be a good night”?

8. "Fire Burning" by Sean Kingston. This fast paced song is sure to get everyone involved in a major dance-off (one of our fave all-nighter activities)!

9. "Evacuate the Dancefloor" by Cascada. Another fast-paced hit by the German group has flooded the U.S. and is making everyone get up and dance till they drop.

10. "Rock Your Body" by Justin Timberlake. No sleepover is complete without at least one Justin song!

MOD LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Fire Burnin, Circus, You Belong with Me, One Time, I Gotta Feeling, and The Climb. I also LOVE Selena Gomez's songs (All Of Them) They are great!! They have an AWESOME beat thats fun to dance to and Great messages bout Everything. I can relate SOOO much to EVERY song! I play those EVERY sleepover!

MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD me and my girlies are having a sleepover on wednesday (it's MEA break) and we like to stay up most of the night. we usually get bored doing truth or dare, makeovers, gossiping, and watching movies after a while. what can we do?

Hey girl! You can try doing a cute craft like tie-dying or baking a sweet treat earlier in the day so that you can save the makeovers, chatting, and movies until later. These activities are way fun and really help get those creative juices flowin'! best, Kristen

I think every sleepover should have some Pussycatdolls songs but thats just me. I dont think The Climb is a good sleepover song or anything by the Jones Brothers. They just aren't real enough.

in my hunble opinion, i think that i'd much rather be listening to music with deep lyrics. with meaning. music that can make u really angry or really sad. music that makes u feel... enlightened i guess is the word. and i just don't feel that when i'm listening to the jonas brothers. and belive me, i went through that stage last year and already my music taste has changed drastically. and some of the music i listen to really is good for sleepovers. and my music taste goes from classical to thrash metal. so it's pretty easy for me to find good sleepover songs that all my friends like. the only genre i absolutly refuse to listen to is hip hop, pop, and rap.... srry off the suybject. i just think that GL should have more variety on music. never have i once seen any bands that i personally like on this website. only lady gaga and other artists i can't stand (no offence to those lady gaga fans)
but i definetly would apretiate if (and other girls that agree with me) if i saw some other bands on here..... srry for the long comment. theres still more i would like 2 say but i'll shut up now

i kinda lik some of these songs but thruthfully i fina a lot of them kinda girly. i wish GL would put on songs that are more um, i don't realli kno a word for it but maybe lik a different genre other pop or pop rock maybe?

Hey girly, try a cute dress with some low heels or flats. Yes, you should defintely touch up your makeup and hair after your last class before the dance. And if no guys want to dance with you, you can always groove to the music by yourself, and there's something cool and confident about a girl who asks a guy to dance, so go for it!
