Should I Date This Dude!?

I am having a major problem. This guy, I’ll call him Tim, started being really nice to me, though we never talk. I then started to really like him. So a few days ago I told him I liked him and then he didn’t show up to school the next day. I was thinking he was avoiding me. He went out with my best friend and she told me to go for it. I wanted to change my hair and clothes to fit my style.

Do you know how I can really get my hair straight and also can you help me figure out my guy problem. If he likes me back I want to ask him out but my mom says I am to young to go on dates. I never said I wanted to go on dates but I want to have a boyfriend. CAN SOMEONE HELP?! PLEASE!?

Sometimes boys are just plain dumb. Tim might have freaked out when he heard that his feelings were reciprocated...or as hard as it might be to hear, he might just want to be friends. Give him time and he’ll come around. Don’t throw yourself at him but be available if he wants to talk.

Either way, you should NOT change yourself for a boy. Boys don’t think about hair and clothes the way other girls do. If he really likes you, he will think you look great whether you are in sweatpants or a mini skirt. Not all hair is meant to be perfectly straight. Next time you get your hair cut, ask your stylist for tips on how to manage your new ‘do.

If your mom says you can’t date, you can’t date. Ask your mom what she means by “dating” because times have changed and she might not be up on how things work these days. No dating probably means no boyfriends. If so, listen to your mom. Mom really does know best. She is not trying to ruin your life; she just wants to protect her daughter. And try to go behind her back wither, she will find out. Boyfriends aren’t worth losing you mom’s trust.

MOD!!!!! I need some help. I don't know what to do with my best friend (lets call her "D"). D is always fighting with my boyfriend and calling him a thing. It really makes me mad. She knows I don't like it. And the thing is she used to be friends with my boyfriend before we started going out. My boyfriend says that she's starting to get on his last nerve. Hey chica, try your best to keep your best friend and boyfriend seperated. When you and your friend hang out, don't invite your boyfriend along and vice versa. Talk to both your friend and boyfriend. Let them know they'll loose you if they don't learn to at least get along. Let your friend know that her behavior is annoying. The only way she'll stop her behavior is if you say something to her.

He's being confusing. I suggest you just dont stress about ti. Just be his friend, flirt, and have fun. But do not let him get to you. If he likes you he'll show you more eventually and things will work out. But for now just ignore all of his confusing comments. Good luck! xoxo kerra

Ok so i am sooo confused.
1. This guy i know from a youth group and i were texting and we were asking each other questions about who each other liked. I think he was talking about me and i was kinda talking about him but a little into our conversation (my question was would u ever tell her you liked her) he said that he would be he would have to tell her that he might like someone else more. this kinda made me sad and confused because i don't know what to say. he askes me a couple times if i like him but i dodged around the question. i don't want to say i like him and then be the girl he doesn't like. He said that he only liked her for a little while and he wasn't sure how much he liked her but he does, i am so confused
2. My BFF also just asked her crush out and she said yes! i am so supportive of her with all of her boy issues (she has alot) but whenever i talk to her about mine. she doesn't seem to care and always says that she doesn't know what to say!

Well first of all don't stress about the bff thing. She really might not know what to say. if shes having lots of boy problems of her own, she might not know how to handle anyone elses. Also about this boy, don't worry about him. If hes being so confusing and dodging around the truth then just dont stress ti. Just be friendly with him but dont let it bother or worry you when he makes confusing comments. It really doesnt matter, especially if hes just being confusing. I have a crush on this guy who sits next to me in English and he's in my 0 period class. We have talked a little, he smiles at me, and he's really nice!! This seems like he's the right guy. It actually ends up taking longer that way As for your guys sitch, that's way disappointing that he has a gf. You never want to be the other woman, but you can still be friends. Keep talking and getting to know him. If things don't work out with his gf, you'll be there, but don't hang around waiting for him when you don't know if things will even work out. So anyway, yesterday me, my bff and our group went to sit with these hot guys that my bff does band with from a grade higher than us. They were being really nice to us and we were hanging out with them for the whole break. I realised I really liked one of the guys. Guys Puberty

Is it kind of normal to be interested in guys and their puberty and how their body changes? I have listened well in class and had very open health teachers but I still find myself very interested in their bodies and how they mature.

Is this just part of being curious about the opposite sex? My last teacher said the internet is a good place to learn about guys bodies and their puberty and made it seem normal to want to know about that stuff. But sometimes I do wonder if I am normal or not about it even if it seems my friends want to know too. Can you give some advice?

MOD*MOD*MOD I tend to like guys who are a little older than me (the oldest I've ever liked has been 3 years older). I think it's because I'm kind of...well, mature. I don't like guys who ALWAYS do stuff like the Hot or Not game, and stuff like that. I also usually think before I act, unlike a lot of my friends. 1. Most guys mature later in life. Usually aroun 16,17 and 18

2. There's nothing wrong with dating a guy who's older than you, as long as he's not too much older.

3. Two years and up may be too old for you to date.

I really like this guy named Nick.
I liked Nick a LOT last year.
He barely knew me but i thought i was doing good on becoming his gal pal. So i told my friends i liked him. Emma ended up telling nick i liked him. Ever since he doesnt talk to me anymore. However his friends still talk to me. ok so here comes the summer Nick and his friends play a joke on one of my bestest friends Jess sayin that Nick loved her. Hey girl, Yeah it's tough when your friends dont like your guy. As long as youre sure hes a nice guy after all, then go ahead and keep liking him. Try seeing him after school or outside of school if in school isnt an option this year. You dont need to tell your girls anything. If they mention him, just say you think hes OK, but that's all. Hey girl, It's def ok not to have a date to hc, especially if you go with a bunch of your besties and you're all going stag. It's ok to go with your gut and go with a guy you like, if you do end up with a date. Some years Ive gone without a date and had a great time and other years I went with a date because I really liked him. But there's no reason to go with a date just for the sake of it, ya know? As far as the guy you like, flirt a li'l and see if he gets the hint. But dates arent totes binding. People dance with other people at the dance so tell him to save you a dance! Have a stress-free night and you can def get all dolled up (nothing wrong with feeling extra pretty!) and go out to dinner. You might even meet a new cutie along the way... Best, Miliana

i really like this guy...ive liked him for about a year...and im almost postivie he likes me back.....i kinda want to ask him out but im WAY too nervous and i wouldnt even know what to say to him, what should i do????

If youre so nervous then i think you should talk to him and get comfortable around him before you even attempt asking him out. If you have casual convos and such then your nervousness should fade. good luck! xoxo kerra

ok heres the deal
i like one of my guy friends
we were reall close last yr
but this yr we arent in the same class so its weird
ive liked him since 6th grade (im in 8th)
im pretty sure he knows i like him
but he doesnt do anything about it
he's alittle strange but thats one of the reasons i like him so much
so when i tell ppl the things he does they think he likes me
but its really just his personality......
last yr a tapped me and would say "it was the ghost."
or when i turned he would play w/ my hair
and one time we had this whole cottoncandy episode in math class
so you could say we hav alot of inside jokes
the thing is since hes so weird its hard to c signs of if he likes me back
i did one of the quizes on here and at the end it said like he probably did like me but idk
i dont want to have to tell him i like him again
and everytime i start liking someone else
my bestfriends say "their ur backup arent they.."
whish might be true......

MOD i've liked my best guy friend for almost a year and a few months ago he asked me out in front of my friends i hadn't told them that i liked him so i said no. (i feel really stupid now) he's in 2 of my calsses (band and jazz band) i sit one seat away in band and i jazz band we're on oppoisite sides of the room. he'll ask me stuff like what time it is or if we can leave class and is still pretty nice to me. i'm really curious but i'm not one of those really outgoing people who can just ask him if he likes me. how can i tell if he likes me ask more than a friend without just asking him? Thanks!

MOD MOD i need help i really like my bffs boyfriend.i think they should break up because they never talk never do anything together.im closer to him then his own girlfriend.but all the guys are really close to me and im 5"6 im 12 so all my friends think its weird that if i date a boy in my grade it will be weird because im way taller. help help help

Friends' boyfriends are off limits, no matter what. It may seem like they don't belong together, but if you get in the middle you'll ruin your friendship with your girlfriend and may be looked at as desperate by the guy. If things are meant to be between you and this guy...things will work out. Don't try to sabotage your friend's relationship.

The boys will catch up to your height within a year or two...tallness is HOT! You get to have nice long legs and stand out among the short girls. The rest of your friends will catch up eventually...just give it time. Good luck babe!

HELP! So I like this guy... and me and one of my best friends thought he liked me back. She could just tell, 'cause she used to be really good friends with him. Today, I got her to call him, and see if he likes me. She said he hesitated for like a minute, before answering 'no,' but she said it kinda implied that he was lying. But I've caught him kind of, staring at me in class, and my BFF says his face goes red every time my name is mentioned.
School is gonna be so awkward on Monday... what should I do?
