Hey action fans! Do you love sci-fi adventures? Crave suspense and intense thrills?

Well then this new Nickelodeon show is for you. It’s called The Troop and is essentially the teen edition of Men in Black with out-of-this-world action and a comedic twist.

The original, live-action series follows Jake (played by Nick Purcell), Hayley (Gage Golightly) and Felix (David Del Rio)—three freshmen at Lakewood High, who are a part of an underground troop led by vice principal Mr. Stockley (John Marshall Jones). The troop battles not only supernatural monsters, but the not-so-nice senior class, even though their classmates just think of them as an unlikely trio of average teens.

Be sure to catch the series premiere of The Troop this Friday, September 18, at 8 p.m. ET/PT only on Nickelodeon!

i watched the first episode and thought it was... stupid... just plain stupid it wasn't funny at all. i know a lot of other people thought that too but i just want everyone to know i don't like the show either.

ok, so this show wasn't sci-fi or comedy at ALL, but its def better than some of the Disney Channel stuff, so i guess its ok. It's no Big Bang Theory though!

this how is awful. in the first episode i watched the acting was bad, the jokes were worse and the special effects were absolutely terrible. i wasted 30 minutes of my life watching this garbage. i DO NOT suggest it.

sorry if this is annoying,but the abc family website doesnt work in canada,neither does itunes...
some new shows are coming out though,but do abc family go on dvd?

It is possible that the shows will go on DVD...but it's likely it'll be by season. (So you'd have to purchase a DVD with an entire season of episodes...which could get pricey.) If you have a friend in the states, you could ask her to tape it for you and then send it in the mail?

Hey girl, you can actually watch both shows on ABC Family's website (I've done it before). I'm not sure what's on up north, but give some new shows a chance. Check your TV guide and look for the show on the 'tube whose description most interests you.

I think I'm really going to like this show, if has a nice feel to it. The special efffects are alittle fake but, I think it's really funny and something my sister and brothers can watch without any issues.

Happy spring! What are you most looking forward to?
