My mom is letting us paint the bathroom we decided on a green, But all the kids in my Family share the bathroom and i have two bros. How can i make it a little cuter and a intsy bit girly without overpowering the whole room? P.S we have a jungle theme with a random polar bear rug and a randown penguin toothbrush holder

Hey girl, you could add a bouquet of faux flowers for decoration for a little touch, but because it's a smaller space and you've got a lot of guys in your fam, whatever hint you do will have to be small. It sounds like the design of the bathroom is one that's very neutral.

MOD I really need some advice. I go to a school with really small classes (like 14 kids per class) and I don't have any friends I am in Grade 8 but i have been in the same school since kindergaren. i am very shy and i feel so awkward if i try to hang out with the other girls. My mom says we are going to move next year but i don't know how make any friends at my school for now and i have no idea how to make new friends at a new school. Any advice??

 

Hey girl! Just be confident and be yourself! Try talking to a few girls in your class. Ask them questions about school, classes, or teachers. A convo will start there!

ok, so my skool has a fall festival/carnival every year. im in 8th grade now, and i have 2 work one of the booths. im going 2 b there all 3 days from the time it starts on the first day, all the way until the last nite it closes, with the times it opens and closes..lol..i really want 2 wear some make-up, and it will be my first time wearing it. i also REALLY want 2 try a smokey-eye, but im not quite sure how 2 do it..i havent told my mom either that i want 2 wear it, but she did say i can start wearing it this year if i wanted 2...but, of course my dad doesnt want me 2 wear it cuz im "too young" when all my friends wear it...so, my questions r: should i start out with something natural? how do i a smokey-eye? and what shud i wear because its super hot during the day, but gets kinda chilly at nite.?

Hey girl, That carnival sounds so fun! If youre new to makeup, I suggest keeping it natural. If you want to try some eyeliner, do that too, but a smoky eye is really best for parties at night. I suggest you wear light clear makeup. You should look fresh and pretty. Don't do anything to heavy. Also put your hair up in a pony tail and curl the ends so its sweet and pretty. For your clothes wear a pair of cute comfy shorts and a cute t shirt with a cute comfy hoodie. Since you're working and picking up trash that will be perfect. xoxo kerra

also whenever curling my hair should i use curlers, a curling iron, or hot curlers. and how do you scrunch your hair? i try using mousse but it always turns out in curls because my hair is naturally curly sorry about so many questions!!!

whenever i put my hair in a bun it never looks good,how would you make a messy bun, ive tried it but it never works and whenever french braiding would it look better with two braids or just one, btw when doing a low side ponytail, do you need to have super long hair or does shoulder length work?? because i think they are kind of cute but whenever i do my hair like that it doesnt really stay so it looks kind of wierd thanks for the help!

 

Hey girl! You just put it in a pony twist your hair and then use bobby pins to keep it in tact. You can put them in loosely so that its messy. You can do that with any length hair

I have a question. I'm mixed, half Puerto Rican and half Black, so I have somewhat ethnic hair. It's a dark shade of brown and it's really choppy, but for the most parts it's around my shoulders. I want to get highlights just in my bangs, which are in the front and sideswept. I heard about the lemon juice lightening, and I was wondering how long it lasted for and if it would work on my type of hair. =)

I am getting so jealous because every article I read is about kids who go to school and stuff like 1 minute hair do's before you get on the bus or stuff about homecoming and I don't get to go to homecoming or any thing because I am homeschooled. I HATE homeschooling but I already started 7th grade and I am going to ask my parents if I can go to 8th grade next year but I don't know if they will let me. I don't know what to do! Please help me! How can I stop being jealous and how can I ask my parents if I can go to public school next year?




That's tough to feel like you're missing out!

You should definitely let your parents know how you feel! If you have friends who are not home-schooled you could try to see if you could go to school where they go! You could point out all the benefits, socially and academically, if you were to attend a school outside of your home. Good luck!

If you blow-dry it ? Possibly.  Try a straightening/anti-frizz balm before you blow-dry.  

If you're referring to curling your hair...yes it may make it look thicker.

Try starting by pulling your hair half up, into a pony tail. I usually do this so that way I can start curling the pieces underneath first! Then I gradually let out pieces from the half-pony and curl them in small sections. If you use a large curling iron it's good for big waves, and smaller curling irons are usually better for tighter curls! Hope this helps!

Hey missy, you could always try purchasing a volumizing shampoo and blow drying your hair upside down. There's also body wave perms and hair dye.

I think there are decals you can buy to decorate a sliding shower door. Try stores like bed bath and beyond or linen and things.
