mod--most of my good friends are in marching band but theres this one girl (S) and none of us really like her cuz she gets mad over nothing. so one time last year(she was also in my class) she wanted me to be her lab partner.well, she startd yelling at me in the midlle of the lab because she thought i was doing something wrong and i told her she shouldn't yell at me because it was her that chose me to be her partner but she denied it...so anyway yesterday at a competion the colorguard had glitter on their eyes like a lot and some fell on their cheeks so one girl wiped it off and put it on our cheeks and we're laughing but S wipes it off and rubs it on my uniform(which they just washed) so i try to get it off and put it back on S's cheek. she thought i was slapping her i guess, htough it wasnt even hard it was a tap. so she comes back and like whacks me. im like ow that hurt and she said urs hurt too. im like what? it was like a tap. after the awards we were going back to the truck to get our cases to get on the bus and i was walking with my BFF and S keeps elbowing me and pushing me to get closer to my BFF and talk over me. so i tell her to quit pushing me. she yells at me that she was being pushed and it may have been that time but i tell her that she does it all the time not just now. so she storms off...then i finally get to the truck and im stand literally NEXT to S and she is talking about how we dont get along and one of the people shes tlking to is staring at me. its not WE dont get along, im fine w/ her until shes starts being rude. and im suprised she never realizes how rude shes being...thanks in advance

Maybe you should keep your distance and talk about your problem in more detail with an adult, who can maybe give an unbiased opinion. If you don't give her anything to bother you about, she won't. S sounds like she's got a lot going on but that's no excuse for treating you like that. Best, Miliana

Congrats GIRLS! Mod: Basketball tryouts 4 my school r Oct. 5 and 6th. I'm suprisingly actually pretty confident, because I've been playing on a team 4 2 yrs, Ik it dosen't seem like much but it was when I was in fourth and fith grade when all the other middle school teams had a few 7th graders and a tone of 8th graders. Yea we had 7th and 8th graders but only a few and they weren't very good. So, I got alot of playing time and it's made me more aggrusive and determind. And when my sisters friend's mom (ass. coach) had practices 4 the 8th graders after the season was over used 2 let me practice w/ them. Sure it was probally cause my sis but she worked me just as hard. Okay so u get it, well heres the prob my friend that I've known 4 ever might B trying out and shes okay but has never played on a real middle school team, and she kinda thinks shes all that and that shes better then me, like after one of my really good games I was exhausted and after the came I cam out of the locker room and she said hey so I said oh hey cause I hadn't seen her in a while. And she said OMG u sucked!!! I so could have MADE THAT SHOT!(I barely missed a shot it would have been my first point 2 score ever!) The thing is shes always saying stuf like that and trying 2 bring me down and being really grabby and pushy and dosen't give me my space! And when I try 2 talk 2 a guy or go out with them she ALWAYS trys to ruin it! Cause she wants me 2 go back out w/ her cousin. I'm really worried she gunna get 2 me at tryouts and bring me down and screw me up! Ik this is terrible but I secretly hope she either dosen't try out or dosen't make it. I hate feeling like that but..
