i DO NOT like high heals, flats, etc. cute but SO uncomfortable 4 me. i have severs "disease" (not really a disease, just called that. it has 2 do with the muscle in my ankles). so to help my ankles heal, i have 2 wear supportive shoes like sneakers constantly.

i hate fruit! and i wish i could convince myself to eat it.... but i never can! I get made fun off and im afraid something really bad will happen if i dont. Sometimes i laugh about it, but it's really dramatic! How can i learn to eat fruit without getting totally grossed out? -desperate 4 fruit!

I semi understand what they mean. I mean, I don't really wear high heels, but I would like to. I wear clogs with little heels, but I don't kn ow if those count. n the other hand, I own about 6 pairs of ballet flats!!! No joke!

2 things: 1) i don't remember exactly when, but within the year suri cruise was seen wearing shoes without socks and they looked painful. someone asked her mom and she said that suri would not wear the socks. she knew they looked better plain! 2) ***MOD*** sloane momsen goes to my school. i'm not in the really popular group but i talk to her sometimes. unfortunately, my friends think she is a snob just because her sister is taylor momsen. they've never talked to sloane, so they don't know that she is actually nice. whenever we talk about her my friends say some rude things. i try to tell them that sloane is a nice person but then they just look at me like i'm crazy. what should i do? i want to defend sloane but i also want to keep my friends. good luck! ;)

i wear converse 90% of the time for school. the other 10% i'm wearing flip flops or nike shox. i love the shox. they offer a ton of aupport and come in lotsa cute colours

My mom is currently going to physical therapy for a foot problem she has and she told me that her physical therapist said that flats, flip flops, and going barefoot are absolute no-nos. I love to wear flip flops and flats to school, but the physical therapist says that wearing them for just one entire school day can be harmful in the long run. I try to wear tennis shoes in the winter when my feet would be cold in flats, etc., but I don't know if I could wear sneakers all the time. It definitely is a risk though and it does cause foot problems when you're older. Most people get this one condition that makes your ankles realy painful and makes it hard to walk. You could have it for an entire year of your life where you hate being on you feet and can't wear cute shoes at all, so it all depends on what you want now or later.

I put shoe inserts inside my flats, and I never get paper thin flip flops, and who would give up all their cute shoes for sneakers? NOT ME! You know what they say fashon is pain (or is it beauty is pain? Oh I don't know)

The last time I wore heels was for a play (in early may) I usually wear my black tennis shoes and sometimes flips in the summer.

Like 98% of the time I wear flats, flip-flops and tennis shoes. But for the 2% I wear heels (haha, I've had too much of math class), I definitely notice the difference. If I wear them for longer than a few hours, my feet really hurt and are in pain for a while after I take them off. I love heels though! And I'm kinda short so I'll probably wear them more often when I'm older.

that study has been around for a while i think :] but im not allowed to wear heel heels yet, so i wear flip flops, ballet flats, tennies, and like 1 inch heels :]

I don't have 2 worry about that... I only wear flats, flip flops, and sneakers. Mostly sneaks and flip flops. I don't like heels! I tried to wear them once, and I fell down! I have never tried again.

I think it depends. I have two pairs of heels, but they're like 2 inches or less. If you wear two inches or less, it's no big deal. But if you wear wedges and heels that are like 2 inches or more then yeah. Some people wear heels that are like five or six inches tall, which does cause pain. Otherwise, if the heel or wedges isn't very high, then you're good.

Heels + me = NO WAY!!!!!!!! I cant stand them. I were convers and tennis shoes. My shoes are covered by my jeans and when i were shorts tennis shoes look fine with then. If i have to were dress shoes then i go get a pair of black flats from my sister.

Ahh, I totally agree. I had to go to the doctor because my shoes didn't have enough support and because of it I have to wear heel inserts. I bet you can find totally cute shoes without having to pay for the constant pain.

well.. i love the ways heels look but i have really only worn them a few times. Of course, there are some really awesome sneaks out there, and you don't have to buy the expensive Converse ones to be cool. there's plenty of uber cool cheaper sneaks out there. I absolutely love my funky sneakers and flats.

there are short-term effects too...once i got a blister like a bubble from wearing high-heels while walking to get ice-cream with my friends! And yet i still wear those shoes...they're just too cute!
