I found out that my dad was married before he married my mom. It upsets me because I found out accidentally. I feel like I'm being lied to.

Although this news must have been a shock, I doubt your dad meant to lie to you. He may have kept his past under wraps because he didn't want to upset you or didn't know when to bring it up.


If you have a close relationship with him or your mom, consider asking about the divorce instead of sitting on the secret. Don't accuse them of a cover-up. Tell them that you are feeling sad and confused and listen to what they tell you.

Hey girl,  when it comes to ex's, things get funny. My suggestion? Give it some time and then talk to the guy. Start off as 'Hey, it's been a while but I really wanted to know how things were going.' Stay friendly and you'll get through that awkward block. As for Q2, just be sure to bring plenty of tissues and cough drops to practice. Let your mom know you're not feeling your best and you'd really like to take the time out. If she still won't let you stay put, let your coach know you aren't feeling your best so he'll keep let you take it easy. When it comes to illnesses, fevers are what make things super contagious, so if you're heating things up with a temperature 99 or above (depending on what your natural temp is) you should be resting at home.

~~~~~~~~~~MOD~~~~~~~~~~ Ok so i'm homeschooled so i don't have very many close friends. My two best friends live on my street but they DO NOT get along. They both always want to hang out but can't stand each other. Both of thier moms say they can't hang out around each other, but neither of them will let me hang alone for a while with the other without getting mad. Now they're telling me i have to choose who i want to hang with more! I can't choose between my two best friends and ditch the other person!!! At the same time i'm kinda glad they're not aloud to be around each other cause i'm REALLY tired of them arguing... i don't know what to do!! help please!!

i know this is wired but i have a question for my mom....ok so my mom wants to be supergirl this year and she works at a school and me and my mom are so pitete that she would have to get a jouniors costume if she went to party city....only prob those costumes arnt apropreate to go to work at an elementary school in...so she wants to use some items around the house to make her costume...how could she make it and what she could she use?




Hey girl! Your mom could buy the costume and make it school appropriate. The outfit probably comes with a skirt and while that's way too short to wear by itself, she could put on a pair of red or blue leggings underneath. She could make sure her skin is covered by putting on a long sleeved t in blue or red. Just be creative. What a fun idea!

Hey girl! Hmmm... I'm not sure exactly what kind of long sleeved shirt you're looking for, but Pac Sun makes some pretty cool henley t's, I know Hot Topic has some long sleeved band T's and department stores usually have a wide range of colors for basic long T's.

Hey babe, it's great that he's reaching out and telling you at least. Sometimes dads can just be hard on their kids, and other times it really does border on abuse. Encourage your bf to talk to him mom or other relative about it first. If he's not comfortable doing that, suggest the guidance counselor. Hopefully there will be someone he can open up to so something can be done to stop it and he doesn't have to live like that much longer.

MOD MOD MOD My parents told me they were getting a divorce in December (of last year). I found out my dad had already started sneaking out dating other girls a few days later, and about 3 months after he moved out he introduced his girlfriend to my brother and I. My parents aren't even fully divorced yet. Plus, now my mom and Sue, my dad's girlfriend, keep sucking up to each other then talking about each other to me behind each others backs. My parents act like teenagers. Plus it doesn't help that my dad has anger problems, and is always showing off to Sue. I've thought about cutting myself alot and am literally forcing myself not to. I can't confront my parents about this, so what should I do?

keltie.............lol it is very EASY tofall for a friend..ive had my share of it. idk with her though, its kinda weird bc she says he'll flirt and talk to her SMOEDAYS and others its like he barely ntices who she is. like not talking to her at all and then she feels offened and gets even more scared about talking to him bc she thinks she's done something wrong(btw she gets all jealous when that happens cuz he talks to this one girl everyday and they say their just friends but she flips about it)

I get sick very easily!!! So my mom keeps nagging me to get long-sleeved shirts. She will only get me shirts if it's under 10$!!!! I'm really pickey and I'm punk and unique!! Plz post pics. And wear 2 get them.... Thanks yous soooomuch!!!!!

mod mod mod, okay so i think i have huuuuuuge pores but my mom tells me they aren't noticable. do you know any tips on how i can make them appear smaller with out draining my babysitting money?




Hey girly,




Make sure that you are washing your face in the morning and at night with gentle cleansers that won't irritate your skin. You could also use a pore minimizing toner. They are relatively inexpensive and last a long time since you apply just a small amount with a cotton ball.
