 I keep getting crushes on guys I can't date. You know...celebs, significantly older/younger guys, fictional characters.... I do sometimes like guys who I CAN date, but never as much.

How can I get over my impossible crushes when I do like a dateable guy? How do I stop liking these guys? Thanks!

Hey girlie! We have all been a victim of fallin’ for those impossible and uncrushable fellas. I've definitely had a few out-of-reach crushes—ESPECIALLY when I was younger. My friend’s older brothers, Hollywood actors, even my history teacher! It happens to just about everyone.

You can still dream about star-studded dudes

The good news? You don’t have to give up entirely on guys who are out of your league. Hey, they’re fun to daydream about, and decorate the walls of your room with. But, you have to come up with conquests that are within your limits as well. How to find some REAL dateable dudes? Try making a last of boys in your classes who make you blush. This will show you that there ARE fellas out there other than Zac Efron. Once you’ve found some potential hotties, kick yourself into dating mode and see if you can snag yourself a real-life Romeo that you don’t have to see by turning on the TV or going to the movies.

Remember, you don’t have to completely stop having crushes on these celebs, older or younger guys and fictional characters. You just have to draw the line somewhere. So crush away on these untouchable hotties, but they shouldn’t keep you from going after guys you could have a chance with in real life.

And if you wanna stay single...

Unfortunately, when it comes to romance, not many boys are exactly like the sweet and sensitive charmers in our fave rom-coms. Having a real-life romance means accepting another individual for who they are, flaws and all. Another thing to consider? Maybe you're just not better for a real relationship, so you keep on crushin' on hotties who you know you have no chance with. If that's the case, no worries. Dream away and someday (when you're ready!) your prince will come. I promise!

I really like my BGF and we dated for 3 months last year, but he broke up with me, for reasons still unknown, but we've been inseparable for so long. Hey girl! I think the only way to find out is to confront him about it and ask him why he wanted to break up in the first place. Ask him if he's afraid, and let him know you want more than just a friendship with him, but it'd be nice if he could commit to being more. If you just want to be friends, you could still tell him that you're confused but happy with where you both stand. If you let him know you're confused, he may be more likely to explain how he feels.

I need some help. There's this guy . I really like him. The problem is that our chorus classes got switched the other day and im in the all girls class now. wen we were in chorus together, I saw him lookin @ me, & then he would turn away. the other day, he was leavin chorus & I was comin in, I walked past him, & he turned red like he does and I do all the time. MOD This is complicated but I told this guy (Jake) that I liked him in a note. I really did like him and my friends told me to write a note to him saying I did and the next day he told me he liked me as a friend and we never talked about it since. MOD* Hi. well i'm not a shy person. Im loud, extrovert, and have a clear sense of who i am. But i am EXTREMELY shy around boys. even the ones that i do not like. they always have to make the initiative, and then i become open, but i can never approach in a friendly way. I think some people can find me intimidating, because i can be very serious and honest. How do i get over my shyness around new people? and how do i approach people who i dont know?

Hey girl! As long as you know who you are and when you feel the most shy, you can learn when to switch it off. If you're not comfortable being extroverted in front of boys or new peeps than stick to how you do feel comfortable. You will open up the more you're around them! You can approach new people by striking up a convo with a question or two and play off of that! No worries, you'll get the hang of it soon!

Hey girl I think we all have been in your situation I mean I was like you where I had all kinds of guys all over me, but you know I never liked any of them until i met my high school sweet heart man I went head over heels in love with him. But you know we all fall for someone at any time and we may not know it until we are telling all our friends about it. Than the word gets out. I mean don't freak girl its normal and you will get that all through your life so don't be afraid to take a chance with love. It's looks like you are saying your not read for love or some guy to come along and take your breath or heart away just yet am I right or am I wrong. Don't get me wrong I have been in your shoe and I still am there are guys who range from young to old that want me to be theirs and you know what I don't see them as that I see them as little boys that are grown men that want me. But still act like boys. So don't be afraid to take a chance with love and your new guys that you call what ever you like. I never really saw my guy friends as boys that I wanted to date I just saw them as friends for now and still to this day I consider them as my friends. So don't push your love just start out as friends kay girl. Well you take care and take my advice kay. Peace
