Hey girls! October is national breast cancer awareness month, so get ready to rock out in pink.

Hey girlie,

 

I've never heard of any scientifc evidence that says that. However, try not to sleep with an underwire bra on, because the wire can bruise your breast tissue. If you feel that you need to sleep in a bra, try a sports bra!

Hey babe, just keep it natural. Use a neutral, like a light brown, on your lids. Add a little mascara, some peachy bronzer or blush and a light pink lip glass and you're set!

I cry to easily. I'm in seventh grade and I really shouldn't be crying so much. I try to stop but I can't, over the littlest things like losing the class spelling bee, and getting yelled at by the teacher. Any tips on how I can control it or stop it? Hey girl, I'm sorry to hear about that. Tears are a good thing, really, and it's perfectly natural to cry when you lose something that meant a lot to you. The thing you've gotta learn to do though? Hold back those tears. Instead of crying, talk things out with your friends at school. Your buds do care about you, girlie, and no one wants to see you in tears. Lean on them and things will get better along with those happy thoughts. (:

that's so great! my aunt had breast cancer and had to get surgery but she's alright now. but my uncle passed away from cancer and i really want to get involved and help.

My grandma had breast cancer so I think it's really important to do things like this. But the scary thing is it's highly likely that I could get breast cancer when I'm older since I have a relative who had it!!! Ah!

This is awesome! I just found out that my friend's grandma has breast cancer :0(. But worry not because they caught it early and she has a huge chance of surviving. And that's weird that she got diagnosed with breast cancer in National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

My Grandma died from cancer about 10 days after she got it. She died on the same day my step- grandpa died (They weren't together when they died. They weren't even together when I was born. She got re-married to my grandpa now. But before my step-grandpa marrried her my grnadma was married to this other guy who had 3 kids with her (My dad, aunt, uncle)

It was pretty depressing :0((((

These are all great ideas! I've always wanted to do something to help the breast cancer research, but all I ever really knew about were the races. (which I can never find dates or places or anything).

I have a friend whose mom has had breast cancer twice, and at one point, doctors thought my mom might (turns out it was something else; something harmless). It's so sad. Frown I wanna do whatever I can to help!!! Smile Smile

Hey girly, your mom probably feels you need to be mature and responsible enough to get your ears pierced. So instead of telling her you're ready to get your ears pierced, show her. Pick up some extra chores around the house and get a head start on your school work. She'll see you're old enough to handle getting your ears pierced and all the pain that comes with it. Smile
