Eek! One more week 'til Halloween! We know by now that you've probs got your costume all picked out...but have ya planned any good pranks yet?
We asked Y-O-U for some tried 'n' true scare tactics.
Here are some of our faves.
Creepy Crawlers
We were in English class and I decided to put a fake spider on my friend's binder. She's completely scared of spiders so I thought, "Why not have some Halloween fun?" When she came back to her desk, she looked right at it and started screaming. She was totally freaking out. Everyone was laughing and eventually she did, too. That was all we could talk about for the rest of the semester.

Haunted Hangout!
My friend was coming over to my house so my dad and I were going to pick her up. I told him to tell her I was still at home, when I was really hiding in the truck bed! When she got in the backseat I waited until we got halfway down the hill. Then I sat up, made a scary face, and knocked on the back windshield. When she turned around she was sooo freaked out.

Pop's Surprise
During one Halloween, we had a huge mini van. You were able to slide the door open very quickly. After people started coming to our house, my father went outside into the back seat of the van with the bowl of candy we were passing out to trick or treaters. Every time someone started walking up our driveway, they had to pass the car. My dad would jump out screaming every time the kids passed the van and the screams were hilarious!

Trick or Be Tricked?
Last year, my friend and I pulled the best Halloween prank ever! Everyone in our neighborhood is always excited about Halloween. One family holds a bonfire, another pulls a hay ride with their tractor, and everyone else sets up for spooky trick-or-treating. For the past few years, the hay ride has driven by the old cemetery which is in the woods beyond a field on our street.
Some of the adults try to jump out at the teenagers from behind gravestones, rocks, and trees as they come by on the hay ride late at night. Last year, we knew they'd try the same trick again. So, just before they arrived and took their positions to jump out, my neighbor and I snuck behind the tall stone wall at the farthest end. As we heard the hay ride coming, and saw the adults turn off their flashlights and quickly prepare for their attempt of a frightening stunt, we crept into the row of headstones just behind the adults.
As they jumped out at passersby, we eerily rose up from squatting on the ground (so it appeared we came up out of the grave in the dim lighting) and said, "Who dares haunt the resting place of Halloween ghouls past?!" The adults ran through the cast-iron gates as fast as they could and the tractor took off toward the candlelit homes as we stifled our giggling. It was the best, because no one got hurt, and everyone laughed about it later.

DIY Doozies
I have two great tried 'n' true ways to scare your family and friends.
1. Leave a note on your prank victim’s bed saying something like, "Sleep with one eye open—at 11:01 tonight you will have a visitor, but not a good one." Trust me works like a charm.
2. On the night before Halloween tell your victim to go to the front door because you think someone’s pranking you. They will keep looking, then all of a sudden jump out of nowhere. You will LOL!

Scary Scarecrow
It was my first time staying home and not trick or treating, so my dad and I decided to pull a prank on all the other trick-or-treaters. We tied up this little scarecrow that made a sound when you hit it and put it outside behind a bigger scarecrow. Then when someone rang the doorbell, we would pull the little scarecrow up and drop it so it would make noise and seen like it was the big scarecrow said it.
Probably the best part was seeing all the teenagers get sooo scared!

Sneaky Spirit
I snuck up behind my mom and made ghost sounds. Then I put my hands on her shoulders. She jumped like ten feet in the air, but eventually she started laughing.
