The long-awaited night of homecoming is almost here, and we’ve got the scoop on easy-peasy showstoppin’ strands. Whether you’re looking for something nice ‘n’ easy or you wanna go with a style that's a li’l more eye-catching and elegant, we’ve got a ‘do for you.
Here's three easy and adorable looks, plus products that'll help you perfect 'em.
Sleek 'n' Chic
Wanna get perfectly pin-straight strands? This style looks salon-worthy but it’s actually super easy to do. Just grab a blow dryer, flat iron, straightening cream, and de-frizzing product.
For starts, wash your strands with a straightening shampoo and conditioner. Once your hair is towel-dried apply some straightening cream (dime size), flip your hair over and blow dry. Once your locks are completely dry, use a straightening iron to go over any ends that aren’t stick straight. Finish 'em off by working a small amount of de-frizzer through your tresses.
Cute Half-Up Curls
Oh-so-jealous of all the fab curls celebs are rockin’? Now you can snag ‘em, too. All you need is a blow dryer, curling iron, and hairspray.
First, blow dry your hair ‘til it’s completely dry. Then separate your hair into three different sections. Using a one-inch curler, wrap small sections of strands around the shaft and hold still for ten seconds. Repeat until each section is curly. Use hairspray to hold it in place. Pin each section back with two bobby pins in an “X” and you're ready to rock.
Ultimate Up-do
This easy up-do is perf for a glam girlie on-the-go. Awesome for an elegant chica looking for a last-minute and easy homecoming 'do.
First, take a one-inch section of hair from the front of your head and braid it. Then pull your hair back into a low pony, making sure the braid still sits in the front (use bobby pins to secure if needed). Once your hair is in a pony tail curl the ends with a one-inch curling iron. Spritz with hairspray to make sure it stays nice ‘n’ secure.
