First of all, we don't take every submission we get for those sections, so yours may or may not go through. As for your friends, think about your relationships and which ones you really want to keep. Work on those as best you can - give your bgf some space for awhile and then come back and talk to him again without getting too confrontational, same with any other friendships you want to keep.
