heey! i need big help PLEASE! I really like this guy in school and he really likes me back. A week later he asked me out and of course I said yes. With the guy: introduce him to the folks.

Mom and pops want to be involved in your life, and what better way to let ‘em get to know your main squeeze then having him meet them? I know, I know—major move if your ‘rents don’t approve, and I don’t suggest doing it pronto. Talk with your BF about your expectations for the relationship and sitch at home. Make sure he respects your boundaries. Get to know his folks, and see if his folks will talk to yours—that way there’s more communication between families and your darling mom and dad might be willing to bend their rules more if they see this guy really is one-in-a-million. When you’re ready, introduce him to the fam after he’s been played up, of course!



Keep in mind, li'l Juliet, that the reason your parents want to keep the leash on that Romeo is because they really are just looking out for you. Yeah, their rules may seem harsh, but they’re doing it with you in mind. Be happy they care enough, but know that with a li'l luck and persuading, you’ll def find that happy medium. Hey girl, last Q first: no, it's not possible for a user to delete a comment, but a mod can delete a comment anytime. Now on to the real sitch: first thing first, textista, fingers off the phone. Sure, texting is one convenient way to flirt, but it's not gonna get you anywhere in the long run, and it leads to a lot of mixed signals and messages. My suggestion? Talk to this guy in person. Just be useful and let the convo flow. Don't worry about one word replies and make sure your communication is balanced -- that means he's texting you, not the other way around all the time. Hi, so I like this 10th grade guy. I'm in 9th. And I've liked him since 7th grade when we had to link arms for this part in the school play. He was SOOOO nice and sweet to me then. (I think that because that was when we didn't know each other). And the last 2 times this year, we talked. But the 2nd time b4, we ended up kinda on the lunch line and we were chatting like no big deal and he seemed pretty happy. MOD!!!!!!!! O.K, so I'm going to my first school dance this Friday.I'm so nervous! There is always one slow dance at the dance and I really want to dance with this guy I like and who I know likes me. But I know from my friends sibs that "bad things" happen. Hey girl! Try talking to your mom and seeing if there is any way you'd be able to spend some time with him. If not, just talk to your bf. Let him know that you really, really want to spend the day with him, but since you're not allowed to have a bf, you aren't allowed to see him. He won't think your mom hates him, but he will be disappointed. You two can always try to skype or talk over the phone for your 5 months. I told my mom, who works with psychologists, and she called my friend's mom and explained the situation to her. They are going to try to get her into counseling. Hey babe! This probably happens to kids who are "grinding" or "freak-dancing", which is a fast dancing where the guy and girl are really close together. I think you could still slow dance with the guy you want to dance with, without getting into trouble! Why don't you try asking him to dance when the slow song comes on!
