Today my dad was talking about leaving my mom if some things kept happening. I have friends whose parents have gotten divorced, and it doesn't look the least bit fun.
Is there anything I can do?
You can say "I love you both and I hope you can work things out." You can even suggest marriage counseling. But your parents are adults and are going to do what they feel they must. Although divorce is definitely not fun, for some kids it works out better in the long run than living with parents who stay together despite rage, scorn, or indifference.

hey i heard about the divorce! its a really hard thing to go through. My parents aren't divorced but a lot of my friends parents are. Just tell them you love them both and whatever makes them happy should make you happy to. -clgo44

I'm so sorry my parents got divorced when i was six which was sad but i had my brothers and sisters to support me it was hard at first but then we went to my dads house every weekend and it was like before. if you don't have an brothers and sisters to help you through this ask some friends that parents divorced to help you out im sure they will understand i did when my friend needed some help and someone to comfort her i hope you'll be ok if you still need some help and support you can go to my page and ask me =) I'll always be there for you girl!

My parents are divorced it IS NOT FUN! Your mom will move then lose her job then get a mean boyfriend and your not RICH then your dad can't afford your home alone then moves in with his parents and he will get a long distance relationship. THIS is my life. IT SUCKS!

Hey i totally know wat your going through. My parents got divorced when i was four and i thought my life would change and totally be devestating. It wont. BE with a friend or relative that KNOWS wat your going through. Dont give up hope. now you can have some more quality time with a seperate parent. dont think about the fact that they split. think of the fact that you will have more quality time. But here's wat helped me. To be with someone through troubles and things. *^*girl

im sooooo sorry 4 u!!!!my parnets might as well right now there not togther and they havent for about 6 years i will tell you its hard but it gets easyer after a bit and to know your parnets still love you and its not a good idea for parnets to stay together just for there kids cause its not better it can but a lot on them and you dont want to be around parnets always fighting and its your parnets chocie so you will get though it

My parents almost got a divorce. My sisters tried everything to help them. But i knew that my parents are adults and need to deal with this as adults, they don't need there children to help out. Sure you can suggest consuling and talk about the situtation, but at the end of the day its not your fault and you shouldn't haft to deal with it. Though it does effect you, i finally realized none of it was my fault and they had to deal with it with each other.
