My little sister throws tantrums. If she doesn’t get her way, she hits or kicks me. It doesn’t hurt, but it gets annoying.

I talked to my mom about this and my sister stopped for a while, but she’s started back up again. Help.

Over time, your sister is likely to grow out of throwing such baby-fied temper tantrums. But these episodes are bothering you now and making it tough to get along with sis. Hitting and kicking simply aren’t acceptable behaviors—even if it doesn’t hurt. Talk to your mom again. Let her know how you feel when your sister acts like this. Hey girl! Try your hardest to stay out of it! Try to get them all together to talk it out and be a neutral party. The last thing you should do is take sides. If your girls try to talk about it, tell them you want to be there for them but you really would rather not hear any of it because you don't want to get in the middle!

MOD MOD MOD!!!My little sister is 5, going to be 6 in December, and she's the worst. She's adopted, like me, and she had it rough. Really realy rough. It all happened when she was under two. And on top of that emotional trauma, she has Asperger's. And THAT makes her memory extremely good so she remembers everything that happened to her! Asperger's also makes her not-so-great with social situations, and makes her emotional age range lower than normal. She has the best excuse in the book for her behavior! But whenever my friends are around, she acts up. Only my best friend gets that it's the Asperger's. My other friends just think it's normal little kid behavior! They think I'm lying! What do I do?

Hey girl, I know it may be hard, but you've got to maintain your story. Your friends should be sensitive to what's up with your sis and take it seriously. Tell them you're being honest, and you wouldn't lie about something like that. They should believe you. That's def not something to joke about.

My friend and I used to be BFFs up until like fourth grade. We just started to be friends again. Eveything had been going great until Gym class yesterday. My teacher was picking teams and I was the last one and I was so happy I was put on her team! She was talking to some other girls and when she saw me walking over she yelled (LOUDLY): Aww Does she really have to be on this team?
A lot of people started to laugh because I am not the most athletic person. I was so embarrassed!! My face turned red and everything. I was so mad!

Hey babe...if you don't like the hair on your upper lip it's a lot better to wax than shave. That way your hair will grow back softer on your face. Try asking your mom if you could wax your lip, and you may have to tell her the truth so that way your face does not get irritated. Your health comes first, so it'd be good to tell her the truth. Just let her know you were embarrassed about having hair in those places, and you'd feel more comfortable if the hair was gone. 6th grade is when a lot of girls start shaving, so let her know you're not alone. It'll be better to get it off your chest too!

HELP!!! In my drama class there's this guy (let's call him G) So G looked at my arms one day and hes like "they're harrier than mine!" So he got 2 other guys (c and n) in on it, and now they're tormenting me!!!!!! Like today we wre doing an improv game, which im REALLY good at, and they're like "She should be a monkey!" then they made jokes infront of the ENTIRE class!!! mod! i have two questions. they're totally unrelated but they both popped into my head so i figured i would ask. 1) i took my vision test at school and they sent a letter home saying that i failed it. now i have to go to the eye doctor to get a better test, and im so scared that i need glasses. im almost 13...do u think i could get contacts? how can i convince my mom? 2) i have a big problem. i tend to flirt with guys like ALL THE TIME! i dont try, i just do. everyone thinks i like guys when i only like them as friends. im not trying to flirt at all tho. what can i do about that? thanks!

Hey! Don't be afraid of getting contacts or glasses! I have contacts, and they're great! I can't even feel them. I know it is possible for 13-year olds to get contacts, but depending on your eye-shape and vision conditions your eye-doctor may not recommend them. Ask your eye-doc what he or she would do, and if your vision is bad enough to have to wear glasses or contacts full time.

About the flirting...Treat your guy friends like your girl friends! Maybe that'll help!
