My Bud has B.O.

One of my closest friends has really bad B.O.! I don't know what to do! I don't want to hurt her feelings, but sometimes it can be really bad. Even some of my other friends have noticed it. Should I tell her? What would I say? Help!

I think you should talk to her about it. But, don’t do it in a rude way, such as saying, "You stink." That’s just hurtful and doesn’t solve the problem.

Maybe she doesn’t use deodorant yet. Clue her in and give her a hint by talking about the deodorant you use. Ask her, "Which kind do you use?" If she says she doesn’t use deodorant yet, tell her that you LOVE the kind you use and she should really check it out.

If that doesn’t work you may want to gently take her aside and tell her what’s up. But remember, be nice! Tell her that you don’t want people talking behind her back and you’re just giving her a heads up to help out.

Hey girl! Other people rarely smell what's going on with your bod. Make sure to swipe some deoderant on and spritz some extra perfume on if you're terribly worried!

I can totes relate!! There's this girl in my class, Vera. She's not the most popular girl in the world..but my friend Hannie and her go waayyy back. So Hannie one day at recess, pulled her aside at recess once and talked to her about the sitch. The next day it was fine! We still have to remind her every now and then but usually its pretty good! Hey Mod I have a body question. under my arm I have this bump. when I feelit it feels like its a little ball of hard stuff under my skin. when I feel it and kinda pinch my skin it feels round. Its been there forever. Im just wandering what it is. i dont realy know how to describe it. I squeeze it and kinda poke then it bleeds a little.I mean is it just like hard tissue or something? Hey babe! I'm not sure...try talking to your doctor about it and see what he or she says! Or let your parents know that it's bothering you, especially if it is hurting or irritating you!

I'm sorry thats happening to you girl. No one should ever be bullied. Honestly if none of the teachers are helping then they might not be the way to go. If there's one person who is specifically making fun of you i suggest you go to that person and tell them how what they say hurts you. I know it might be a little awkward, but if you want them to stop bullying you you have to let them know how you feel. Also, it would def help you if you focused on the aspects you love about yourself. Good luck girl. xoxo kerra

Hey babe, for now there's not much you can do since he has a gf. You'll just have to wait to see what happens with their relationship. Just enjoy having fun with your friends and try to get your mind off of it.

yeah! i mean, it should be a rule that once ya'll hit puberty, its time to swab on a little deo, so ya dont get b.o. its not that hard, or expensive. other people can smell you! =)
