Period Signs

Being able to recognize the signs of a period on the way can be really helpful. It’ll give you time to go out and get tampons, pads, Midol, tea, whatever makes your period more comfortable. Some typical signs you may want to look out for are PMS, cravings, sore breasts, cramps and spotting.

hannahmontanafana you could also have hemroids(idk how they are spelled) which means you bleed when you go number 2. it may sound gross but it is serious it could be that but it could also be spotting. so if you only get it when you go number 2 then it is hemroids. you can just change your diet if you have hemroids and you will be fine also fiber helps!!!!

Hey babe, There's really no way to figure out when your period is going to start. You have the signs, so just start carrying a pad with you whenever you can and be patient! It will happen eventually (and probably sooner rather than later!) but you can't do anything to make it happen faster.

So yesterday before school I went to the bathroom and I went number 2. There was a lot of blood as I was wiping, and when I got to school there was nothing in my underwear. When I checked before the day ended, there was a lot of brownish-redish stuff in my underwear. When I got home I put on fresh underwear and late that night I got a tiny bit on it. Today I had a tiny bit again, but its brownish-red. Is this my period? Or could it be an infection, and my discharge is that color? Thanks!

Hey girl, that sounds like your period or spotting at least. Try wearing a pad or pantyliner to keep your panties clean.

MOD MOD MOD MOD!I been having major discharge!It sometimes feel like i peed myslf and it shows up in my underwear all the time!While im getting a shower, my little sister will see my under wear and say oooo look who peed herself! It's so emmbaresing!I tried telling my mom I want pads to help my discharge not feel like I peed myself, she said no!What do I do?

Hey girl! Try talking to your mom again. See if you can pick up some pantyliners to help keep yourself dry. You might be able to come to a compromise with your mom!

Panty liners are a great idea. just let your mom know your issue with the dampness, and she'll understand and want to help out!

i never had any signs. i just got it one day, it was at my sis's bday party, i was on a moonbounce and i thought id just peed a bit. i also had two friends sleeping over, but its more regular now, about a year later. and ive used tampons, and pads are comfty 4 me though. ps.ANY time you go on a trip take some in case!!!!! i didnt and 4 a week i was stuck in florida on a trip...always bring extras!!!

mod mod mod ok so I get cold easly and my feet get cold so like 5 min ago my feet were llike ice so I put on 1 pair of scks and they were still cold so now I have on 4 pairs of sock and they r getting warmer is it normal 4 peoples feet 2 get that cold

Hey babe, it could just be a circulation thing so I wouldn't worry too much but if it gets worse or you get concerned about it, def talk to your doc about it just to see what's up but I'm sure you're fine!

ive submitted posts but they never seem to show up on here for some reason so ill try once more. I kinda think my period is gonna start ( sounds wierd but i kinda want it to .. dont ask why because i really dont no ) but im getting A LOT of white milky or clear discharge. Hey girl! I wouldn't worry too much, that's pretty normal. It wouldn't hurt to see a doc though. A routine checkup is no biggie!

When I got my period the first time I was really moody and all I wanted was mash potatoes.
Just remember to tell someone you feel comfortable talking with and dont take your emotions out on other people.

hey girl! Most girls feel bad when they're on their period. When it's that time of the month, your body changes a bit, so it's normal to feel blahh. I'm not sure if the diarhhea is caused by your period, but if you get it everytime, you might want to tell your mom and see if there's anything you can do. It's normal to feel kinda bad when you're menstrual, but diarrhea def doesn't help. best, Kristen

hey i dont have my period but i know that some signs are discharge like yellow stuff in your panties. no one tells you the pure turth. this is what it feels like say your walking around all of a sudden its wet thats it. and its uncomfortable. and it dries yellow or if it turn brown get your pads ready cause your about to start your period. I got this information from my friend. she had cramps and brown discharge in her panties. So see if you have this.

Don't hav my period yet lol not excited for it. its rly weird because in third grade I already had armpit hair and my breast started to grow. my doc told me that i would probably get it super early like 9 or 10 but then by fourth grade i lost some weight and puberty went backward for me then in sixth i finally started growing boobs again and now i'm almost thirteen, a cups, and still don't have a period 3 years after i was 'supposed' to.
