Wear your hair like the Pink Ladies! I would do the flip out look with some volume. You could even back comb a portion of your hair for a half updo.

MOD ok question. im in eight grade, and next year im going to high school, but theres a little trouble. there are twoschools, ones a regular schol and ones a vocational school. me and my two good friends are really stressed and dont know what school to pick. for the vocational school you need to apply, but all you need is good grades, good attendance, ggood behavior and some other stuff that we all have. a bunch of my friends are also thinking about going to the vocational school but we dont wanna miss everything at the other school. i mean iv practically grown up in the regular school for like sports etc. but idkk!! im so confused. do you think you could help?

MOD, My hair is born naturally wavy and i want a new haircut right now. i dont know what kind i should have. Right now my hair is layered and medium lengthed. i want a haircut that can make my hair look straight.

Hey girl! Giving your hair a trim will most likely loosen up your natural waves to become even more wavy. Length is what weighs your hair down. So, if you want straight hair you might have to grow it longer. Ask your stylist and she will be able to give you a better answer for your particular hair!

MOD- another question!!! i use suave shampoo. is that damaging to my hair? i hav lots of split ends but my hair is very soft and not oily at all. i even rinse it with cold water to help my ends but i could pick off at least five every day and there would still be more. HELP and THXXX...

That shampoo would probably not be causing your split ends. It might be time for a trim. If you don't want to cut your hair, just get an inch taken off. Do this every couple months to keep your hair looking healthy!

I would avoid getting short bangs because they might make your face look too round. Look through a hair magazine and find models who have your face shape. Then pick out the hairstyles that look best on models with your face shape.

MOD! so i have a group of friends at school that i THOUGHT were my really good friends, but i just found out that they talk about me ALLL the time. And i'm not sure what to do. They keep saying i lie and im a bad friend and that they can't trust me. and i know ive let somethings slip in the past but not nearly as much as would make them talk like that. And as much I want to do something about it, i don't care enough to deal with them. What should I do?

If you don't care enough to deal with your friends and talk things out, then chances are you shouldn't be friends with them. True friends would talk things out, apologize and try better in the future.

MOD I am going to a movie night with all my girlies from my church youth group

! I'm soo excited, the only prob? What should i wear for pj's, how should i do my hair, and what about makeup? They are all friends of mine, and almost all of them are on the CHeer team so they are like insta friends with one another. I'm not on the team because i am too bussy with my gymnastics team and dance team. Hey KT! Try not to be nervous...just think if you act like yourself, then they are going to love you! You could always talk about one of your interests...or a movie you want to see...or your favorite TV show, song, things to do...etc Wear PJs that you're comfortable and warm in! You could do your hair how you normally do it, and don't go overboard on the make-up. You could always add some eye shadow or eye-liner to spice up your regular make-up routine, and of course don't forget the lip-gloss! Have fun!!!

Hey chicky, yes I know those chain letters are really annoying and super long. You could always twist or braid your hair into a style. Ponytails and pigtails work. And putting hair clips and headbands on your hair makes it look cute too!

Hey girl, It's so normal to feel that way. I bet your friends are great but you should def talk to who you want to! After all, you can have different friends for different things. That being said, I really suggest going to your mom. I know, I know. But, it really works for me. If you dont want to give that a try, maybe talk to a friend from another state (one you met at camp or something) or even from another school because she'll be what I like to call an "outside observer" and tell you like it is. i got my haircut yesterday and the stylist TOTALLY messed up. I said i wanted choppy layers, but i guess she thought it was too much work. she ended up chopping off and extra 1 to 3 inches, and i didn't even get the layers i wanted. it looks completely horrible. the ends aren't even really that even. i don't know what to do, but i am NOT going back to her because she sent me home crying (literally). I NEED HELP! please and thank you!!

That tends to be true but there's no exact science to it. If you've got curly hair, the ideal length is around your shoulder because when it's too short it can get frizzy easily and when it's really long it's a pain to manage. Best, Miliana

I just turned 14 last month, and I must say I do guy-shop sometimes ;P I've never had a boyfriend or anyone that admits they like me (besides friends of friends that I was introduced to and maintained a friendship with online, so it really doesn't count). I am a thin, kind, happy person. I find myself fairly decent looking (I don't have a lot of acne). I'm fairly friendly. No one has ever expressed an interest in me though. A couple of guys flirt and then I never hear from them again. When did you get your first boyfriend? I know this seems dumb, and I'm not saying I need to find someone right away, I'm super young, but it kind of hurts that no one shows an interest. I talk to people and try to make friends, but people seem to ignore me. They may answer my question and respond, but they don't really see me.

Thongs in my opinion are like a perpetual wedgie. It just sits between your butt cheeks haha. But yeah they can be pretty comfy sometimes. I only wear them when i'm wearing an outfit where i dont want panty lines showing. The difference between thongs and g strings is that thongs cover more. If you find someone who has a young kid, you can be a mothers helper. You would basically help them take care of their kid and make it easier on them. You wouldnt be alone with the child, you would just help them. Also its not hard to start babysitting. Just find someone who has a kid and as long as your responsible you can take care of their kid. I babysit for my next door neighbor all the time and its the perfect babysitting situation for me. See if you can find something similar. xoxo kerra
